Our stay at Nanuk Polar Bear Lodge was incredible on all levels. The People. Even though the highlight of the trip was the polar bears and wolves, none of it would be possible without the excellent staff at the lodge. The guides were very knowledgeable and managed to impart that knowledge in a fun and enthusiastic way. They got us...

I have been to Nanuk Lodge twice now, and both experiences were fantastic.... And different, thanks to the variability of wildlife. With wildlife, you never know what you're going to get, but to be on the ground, close to polar bears was something I'll never forget. Add to that the black bears, wolves, and beluga whales in Churchill... Lets just...

Wolves are almost mythical creatures; elusive beyond belief, these shadows of the forest and tundra are the epitome of true wilderness. Bears may be the beating heart of the Hudson Bay ecosystem, but wolves are undoubtedly its soul. Indeed there is nowhere in the world where the canine King is seen with any real frequency. Most of the world's wolf...

People from all regions of the world are beating a path to Churchill Wild to experience northern Canadian wonders and so should you! From the initial communication with Doreen to the farewell hug with new friends who just days earlier were introduced to you as staff, I cannot say enough about the friendliness and professionalism of all the Churchill Wild...

The entire trip from the dinner the first night to breakfast at the hotel on the last morning was planned and executed to perfection. The staff at the lodge were unbelievable and their can do attitude can give many 5 star hotels a lesson in customer service. The knowledge and patience of the guides was amazing. The food ( we...

I was at Nanuk Polar Bear Lodge this past September for the Mothers and Cubs Adventure. The first polar bears we saw were from the plane on the flight between Churchill and Nanuk. We saw approximately 20 polar bears along the coast and that was just the beginning of our adventure. During our stay we saw polar bears, black bears,...

Thank you to all the fabulous team at Nanuk. At every turn you all ensured that we had the most amazing 'up-close' experience with all the teaming wildlife surrounding Nanuk. Your respect for your precious wilderness and the animals that reside there was so rewarding to witness. We felt so privileged to be able to experience such a variety of...

It is hard to describe how magnificent Nanuk is. Nolan and his team truly run a fantastic operation. The lodge itself is very beautiful. The food is great and the staff makes you feel like friends. At night the northern lights dance across the sky. Andy and Albert(butch) are exceptional guides. Butch even made us a fire when we got...

Superlatives are a euphemism when describing our experience at this lodge. Firstly the polar bear experience. Two great guides Albert and Andy took us out twice a day to find bears then approach on foot. To get 50m from a polar bear on foot is an amazing experience. Add to that a brief wolf sighting, moose and great black bear...
