My husband and I stayed in one of the older cabins. It was very rustic and basic but comfortable and clean. The beds were very comfortable. We ate our main meals at the nearby restaurant and the food was excellent. We enjoyed the area and the Frio river very much. The water is high at this time and my husband...

This was our first time staying at Neal’s Lodges and we had a great time! We stayed in cabin 2 and found it very comfortable. Cabin 2 was an older cabin, but it was charming and clean. The location of the cabin was located as you enter the camp grounds. We noticed that even though it was located near the...

This place is AMAZING! We were able to get in the day before a holiday weekend. There was so much to do for everyone. We had plenty of room in the apt like lodge and enjoyed sitting outside by the cool firepits while we waited on our Bar b que. While there about 8 of us went Horseback riding. All...

We've stayed in their newer cabins (67) and most recently their RV spots (14)... both times we've absolutely loved it. The short walk to the river behind this section is not bad at all and my kids love the secluded river access area there! The addition of the water slide is a hit for the kids too! The live music...

A girls trip to see Texas birds. Neals Caters to birders with several feeding stations. The walk along the river was beautiful and very birdful. We had a resident road runner right outside out cabin. Our cabin was clean and very nice. We had no issues with mold or anything. We had two bedrooms and two bathrooms, no need to...

Black mold in the shower, one working stove burner, a 1-legged electric heater, and minimal kitchen equipment. Not what we expected for what we paid even in the off season. Very out-dated accommodations. We didn't expect luxury but we did expect clean and functional.

I visited and stayed in one of the older cabins by the river. The place is amazing and has some awesome amenities but the cabins were old and very rough. Staff was extremely friendly though and made up for it.

Went for a weekend getaway and to experience the Halloween Hay Ride. The people running the event were extremely rude! They were running 2 hours behind schedule and didn't apologize one time nor offer a refund. The next morning we called for check out time and were told 11am followed by a click. Who hangs up on a customer like...
