Had a great room with back porch overlooking trees, birds and part of the river. Room was very comfortable. Within walking distance to main downtown area. The breakfast was wonderful. Home cooked with great dining rooms overlooking river watching deer come to the feeders 2 times a day. Will go back.

We have traveled 49 states, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, and Meyer Bed and Breakfast is the only place we have been able to truly relax. Located in the historic and beautiful 19th century town of Comfort, the natural beauty and quite surroundings of Cypress Creek make this inn unmatched in the Texas Hill Country. Since discovering Meyer Bed and...

My sisters in law and I stayed at the Meyer for a girls weekend. I booked a king room at the Mercantile building. It was very large and quiet. The view of the creek was very beautiful. You could see deer on the other side on and off all day long. The room was clean and I received maid service...

Four of us spent a lovely weekend here. The two bedroom house was just perfect for what we wanted. The breakfasts were yummy and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The kitchen utensils could use a little updating, but who wants to cook when there are so many great restaurants around! The setting is most relaxing and we loved...

Very quaint and scenic short distance to Fredericksburg & San Antonio. Nice staff and good food :) We stayed in the Homestead cottage which can comfortably room 2-6 people. It's filled with antique furniture but also has modern conveniences. The master bathroom has a nice large tub - perfect for a couples retreat.

Tucked away by a lovely creek with onlooking deer, this historical German town has a lovely arrangement with small cottages interwoven among the pecan trees to give any traveler a restful sleep who will then wake up to a very hearty and healthy breakfast.

The acomodations face the creek, which is open for nice strolls and have a wonderful view. The B&B is located near the (few) blocks that comprise the town center (not much). The staff is very helpful(we requested gluten free options and they were very solicitous to comply).

The Meyer combines beautiful rooms, a great breakfast (try the bread pudding!), and a gorgeous setting about an hour from San Antonio. The rooms are sumptuously appointed with great yesteryear decor and surprises like claw foot tubs, in room jacuzzis, lavish beds and comfy furniture. There's ample breakfast choices and plenty to eat. Breakfast is served in a lovely building...
