Overall felt that the fireworks show was awesome but the decision to cut the rides, champagne/apple cider toast, countdown and live music was not a good change. The DJ in with the games a good call and the best fireworks show and dinner at Stories!

Great family resort. Love it. Bike riding, hiking, very dog friendly, spa is fantastic. The food was fantastic, especially the buffet for the holidays. We enjoy Stories Steakhouse. All of the staff are friendly and courteous, can't say enough nice things.

We stayed 4 nights along with 3 other families and had a wonderful time. Lots of activities for the kids and AH-mazing fireworks on NYE. The food at the restaurants is quite good but the service is SLOW and food is expensive. Hence the 4 star rating i/o 5. Despite that, would definitely do it again but maybe plan meals...

I love this place! This was my third visit; the first with my four children. There are many activities for kids, teens and adults. The resort is well-staffed; the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The walls of the resort contain a virtual education on many aspects of Texas history. The meat is extraordinarily good. The setting is rural and...

We were there for New Year's festivities. Family had a wonderful time. Staff was very friendly. Buffet dinner (New Year's Eve) and brunch (New Year's Day) was fantastic. Kids activities were engaging and well thought out. Room was spacious and clean. Fireworks show fantastic. Highly recommend. One suggestion for the staff - midnight toast was only for those 21 years...

We saw a travel article of the best places to go for New year's w/kids so we decided to try it out. We had a fun packed weekend with Smores, a carnival, fireworks to music, ice skating, fishing, horseback riding and more! Most people had kids. It's a pet friendly place as well. We are excited to come back soon!...

Broken toilet handle, wasps in room, articles of clothing from previous guest found on floor of room, put 86 year old father on different wing from rest if family instead of 2 rooms close to one another even when the 2 rooms were booked together; restaurant service extremely slow and waited almost 45 minutes to eat which caused a delay...
