Wow. Simply wow. The hotel not only met all my expectations and more, but during this virus time the way they managed the situation taking care of guests and employees it is spectacular. The rooms are very spacious, the bathrooms are big and the shower gel, shampooed conditioner are absolutely amazing, they don't do the small tiny bottles, you have a good big size bottles filled with everything for a good shower not worrying if there's going to be enough for everyone. The beds and pillows are like a cloud, super comfortable. The TV with the opportunity to log in to your Netflix is a plus when you're bored of watching the regular programming. The black out curtains for a day sleeper like me were a delight, bot a ray of sun came into the room 👍 I slept like a baby. 😃 the only thing I would change is the fridge, is a tad too small for my taste. The lobby has a starbucks coffe shop and the decorations, pool and outdoors patio are super marriot standards. I loved staying at this hotel.

I had a great night's sleep there. The room was very well appointed with USB charging ports all over the place. It's one of those new hotels where you have to leave a room key in a holster for the power to work, but they gave me an extra key at checkin. I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm in Carrollton or Southlake.

We're delighted that you enjoyed our guest room features, our customers frequently told us to have more charging stations for mobile devices and I see that this was one of our many features you favored. Thank you for your feedback and we look forward to your return visit.

Always a nice stay. Clean, well appointed rooms, quiet hotel atmosphere, great staff. Check in seamless. Elevators quick and quiet. Room was very nice, beds comfortable. Best of all we were able to watch the college football game on the cable service in the room.

We checked in on Thursday, November 7th. The guy at the front desk whose name tag read supervisor never made eye contact with us, never welcomed us and was rude and almost combative in his actions. Not a great start. When we walked into our room, the back of my throat was immediately seared by the caustic chemical fumes in the room. That lasted for 3 or 4 days. The flooring in the threshold from the bathroom into the room had very sharp edges. When I stepped on it with my bare foot, I felt a lot of pain. The ball of my foot was sore for a couple of days. We spoke with Elisha, Front Desk Manager the next morning when we checked out and told her about all of these issues. Her response was to offer us free coffee or bottles of water. Not a satisfactory solution to say the least. When I received the standard email requesting feedback on our stay, I shared all of this same information and gave a 1 star rating. The 1 star was given for the convenience of location only. This morning I had an email in response to my feedback from Elisha. She apologized for the hotel and staff not meeting the expected standard. She also mentioned that she offered us a complimentary night’s stay should we choose to give the hotel a second chance. Neither I nor my husband recall her giving us that offer, but in the course of our discussion we did tell her we wouldn’t return. In my reply email to her this morning, I suggested a full or at least a large part of our room rate be refunded to us. So my question is does the General Manager of the hotel read any of the feedback or is he informed about reviews that are so low? I would like to hear from him. Elisha should be able to provide my contact information to him. Lori and Steve A. Overland Park, KS

I’ll start by saying that the bar and bistro were amazing. The beer was ice cold and the food was great. The bartenders were very friendly and helpful. Now to the room. The bed was very firm and it kind of reminds me of when I slept on the rocks while camping in the desert. The AC was covered by a shelf, which blocks the air from getting to the rest of the room. The air hits the shelf and bounces to the ground, making the carpet in front of the AC the only cold spot in the room. The thermostat was set to 64 but the room was 75. I went down to try and swap rooms but there were no rooms available. I offered to pay for a suite if necessary, but no luck. They sent the engineer to my room to look at it. He looked at it for a second and said everything was normal, then left. At 11 pm I woke up to what sounded like I was under a waterfall. There was water draining by my head and it was very loud. I am a heavy sleeper but the sound of the water draining right behind the bed was insanely loud. That went on for an hour or so. I checked out a day early because I don’t like sleeping in a terrarium that is on a sinking ship. The bar and bistro are what kept this review so high. If not for them, it would be a one star. I would upload a video of how loud the water was but it only allows pictures to be uploaded for a review.

I negotiated a corporate rate for my team of 20 last July. We've held a few conferences at the hotel since. I had our corporate travel book and pay for our latest stay. Though I was recognized by name upon Check In I was told I could not check in without a personal credit card. I don't use my personal cards for business travel - and no other Marriott has ever asked for a personal guarantee? The front desk clerk could not get through to anyone (GM, Front Desk Manager or Sales Manager) at 7pm? Then, she called my room at 8 to tell me the Front Desk manager called her to tell me she'd "talk with me in the morning." We won't be staying here again. It's unfortunate they required something NO OTHER MARRIOTT has ever asked me to do.

Overall, excellent stay! We enjoyed the vibe at the Courtyard in Carrollton. Downstairs lobby had aesthetically pleasing decor and an abundance of socially distanced spots for groups to gather in a comfy chair for a nice visit. Next visit we will definitely take advantage of the bar for a "happy hour" and I would also like to make use of the fire pit area outside, the space was very inviting!
The room was clean, the bed comfy, however the pillows were not right. I will bring my own next time. This will be our go to place to stay when we visit our soon to be first grandbaby!

In light of todays travel situation one would thing that a general manager of a property would be welcoming of guests. Not so here. "JE" made the most pompous and arrogant comments to me. Completely unnecessary. Maybe it's because they a short staffed. If so, that's his own fault. Don't know but I'm never staying here again. Also. Although it looks like it is centralized. There are no restaurants nearby.

Thank you for your feedback, it is my position to enforce face mask and face coverings in public areas at all times as well as monitor social distancing in public areas. As I mentioned, it is my responsibility to keep our guests and associates safe in our hotel; especially, during a pandemic.
