great place. Just had a few hiccups when we arrived. Got there Friday evening and it was really dark already 7pm. The young man who drove us to our spot wasn't much help in guiding us into our spot. It was very dark big trees on both sides. Came close to hitting them at least twice. Luckily we had friends...

The cabin was great, the loft was a plus. My daughters enjoyed it a lot and used it as their play room. The staff is very friendly and professional. They have activities for the family all day long. We were never bored. Clean facilities. The Ranger Station has a little bit of everything in case you forgot something, and a...

Price was already high for a tent camping site, considering we paid close to $75 and didn't need/have running water or electricity. Water park and outdoor pool were closed, which made the price feel even higher.

It was such a great weekend with action packed activities for the kids. I was most impressed with the large calendar for Saturday. Between pony rides, petting zoo, trick or treating, costume contest, and swimming, the weekend was super fun filled!! I highly recommend it.

I am by nature a very nervous, protective parent, however, I feel very comfortable at the Hill Country Resort letting my children be children (go to the park, ride their bikes, etc). The employees are great and I feel as if they tend to watch over the children as well, which adds another layer of safety for my children. The...

The park was fun and my kids had a blast. However, the cabin was run down and there was only enough hot water for three quick showers. A lot of money to spend on a junky room with plastic wrapped mattresses.

Had fun but wished all activities were included in the price. Had to pay for some of the activities. Restrooms were extremely clean. Campsites are cramped. Wish they had golf carts available to rent year round.

The lure for me is as a Yogi Bear fan from the late 50's. My daughter has grown to like him and her sons as a wacky as me about Yogi, Boo Boo and Cindy. None of us are "campers" in the truest sense of the word. We just like the Yogi motif and if we have to get a...

It is a nice place to camp, and lots of things for the kids to do, but the kids, all kids looked forward to the water park being open, but when we arrived it was closed for repairs. Not for sure, but maybe the repairs could of waited till after the busy Halloween weekend. That is a big part of...

My family had a great time! Unfortunately, the park doesn't have access to the river. Our room was very clean and room pictures on the website were accurate. Manicured landscaping would be a plus. Security was excellent!

“Book the bungaloo for privacy and room for the kiddos to run and play. Just don't expect it to be fancy on the inside!”

“We stayed 6 nights and never got our toilet paper restocked. If we had only stayed 2-3 days, the toilet paper supply would have been adequate, however, I feel that if campers will be renting cabins longer, the supply should accommodate all days the guests will be staying.”
