We stayed in the campground for 3 nights while attending a wedding at Bridal Veil Falls. While water service was delayed due to repairs, we were back on line in short order and were treated as customers should be. We camped in a 5th wheel trailer. We had full hookups with a pull through site over looking lots of trees... More

We camped at R&R for 4 days mid April. Reserved an electric and primitive sites. The primitive sites were unavailable due the the rain and mud so we were allowed to all stay on the electric side. The electric side consists of one electric pole for the entire area with several multi plugs screwed to the pole. You must bring... More

I wanted to plan a fishing trip around Canyon Lake and the Guadalupe for my husband's birthday. I came across the Lazy R and R Cove online, which seemed like it would be in the perfect location, but the more recent reviews were kind of scary. Several reviews mentioned that there were new owners as of last July, so I... More

Thank you Rick for a wonderful stay at cabin 5 in Wimberly. Excellent communication. It was a nice home with everything we needed for kitchen. Wish the grill was working though. The cabin was kept nice. Probably needs updating a bit. Had two queen beds in a large bedroom. Beds were somewhat firm. However the view from balcony was great!!... More

I HATE leaving a bad review. That said, this cabin rental (#7) was not what the website led me to believe it would be. 8 person cabin with one terribly old and awful queen bed mattress, two dumpster type hide a bed couches with ancient flattened mattresses, and one futon with a stained and dirty mattress. We killed lots of... More

Where to begin. Arrived July 1st for a 4 night stay (kids & grandkids 1st camping trip). RV site was not mowed nor was the area around us for tent camping. Called manager and they did send someone out to mow the grass. You would think that being a holiday weekend and more than likely booked up, all sites would... More

There are two different locations for cabins. One is in Wimberly and the other is Canyon Lake. The Canyon Lake site has the smaller rundown cabins. I am assuming the great reviews are about the Wimberly site??? The bed mattresses have seen better days and need to be replaced. There are mostly permanent resident RV's. This place is not what... Our family camped in an RV. The staff was friendly. The roads were a bit rough and had some lower hanging trees that were probably 10-11 foot off the ground. It was a quiet park with river access to the Guadalupe. The RV sites were close together, but it was not full when we camped, so we didn't have any... More

Let my preface this by saying we were desperate when we booked this cabin. We needed room for 10, but on a budget. I saw the pictures online, but figured we would risk it Nope. Nope, nope, nope. If I had been with a different group for a different purpose, I would of peaced out. We stayed in cabin 9.... More

Husband and I were looking for a weekend get away and this was PERFECTION! Our cabin was cozy with a swing on the porch for late night drinks. Tub was spectacular for soaking and the kitchen had far more accommodations than anticipated. So happy to hear that this place is still standing after the rains because we are planning a... More

“We stayed in cabin #9, which can sleep up to 11 people if needed. We were only 5 so it was very comfortable. Don't forget to bring your own towels, sheets, and blankets. You can also bring your own bikes. They have canoes for rent at a very reasonable price.”
