We were looking for a relaxing place in Thailand where our kids could explore in nature and we could all spend time unwinding. We had to attend an event in phuket and in contrast to our normal holidays there wouldn't be much in the way of wildlife so we were looking for an alternative place to include in the trip....

Wonderful location and impeccable service. The clubhouse offers good, locally Thai food and the breakfasts are great. The houses are clean, well furnished, and some have great views of the andaman sea Also great if you´re travelling alone. The best part was experienciing moonlight over the beautiful island bay. Simple luxury. Time to relax.

My wife and I love Thailand, and we wanted to find somewhere secluded, away from the touristy areas and bustling beaches. We fortunately stumbled across what can only be described as paradise and perfection. The Golden Buddha beach resort is a mix of golden beach and tropical jungle. Nature in its purest form. And how it should be. The majority...

This amazing place is definitely an effort to reach. We organised a car from Surat Thani train station, which was pricey (3000 Baht - "Cheaper Than Hotel taxi Khao Lak" -but still undercuts other taxis) but ensured we made it to Khuraburi Pier correctly as options appeared limited. Golden Buddha organised long tail boat to and from resort but at...

It's a bit a trek to get to (4.5 hours from Phuket airport) but it's worth it. A set of individual villas for rent next to the deserted beach with monkeys, hornbills, butterflies and pigs for company. The staff, particularly Massi, are super friendly.

Beautiful place - if you go there, you never want to leave.... amazing food, great yoga lessons, very friendly staff, excellent food, nice spa. Like Thailand was 30 years ago but better. If you want internet in your room, buy a prepaid card at the airport, wifi only in at the restaurant. Be aware of the monkeys!

we as a family of 4 (kids 9 & &) spent 3 nights at Golden Buddha over Thai New Year. We were all completely blown away by the natural beauty of the island and its wildlife. It was a trek to get there but was a price well worth paying. We stayed in Tongsai which was a charming house at...

That's what Massi said to us when he greeted us at the beach upon our arrival at the Golden Buddha. Having spent amazing 9 nights there, we can confirm that Golden Buddha is a very special place that I would have no doubt calling our own paradise. The setting is truly idyllic, the houses are beautiful and it is incredibly...

Our stay at the Golden Buddha Resort was magnificent, truly magical. We knew getting there was going to be a bit of a trek, but it was really worth it. The location by the sea is great, the beach was vast and empty, each tree-house beautifully furnished and our son liked it too (the pool table, the pizzas at the...

After a beautiful stay at the golden Buddha. I can say for relaxation it doesn't get much better, the staff were friendly and very helpful, rooms were spacious and very clean. The island was completely unspoilt with miles of deserted beach and jungle. The new manager was excellent with his personal and welcoming approach to all guests. The food was...
