We stayed at the Verandas Guest House for 4 nights...I loved this location. We stayed in the Houston Room which was perfect for our needs. The room is large and has a king-size bed which was super comfy. We sat on the veranda/porch every morning and had coffee and then we got in the car (the purpose of our trip)...and...

Absolutely wonderfully preserved Stagecoach Inn from the late 1850s. We stayed in the downstairs Crockett Suite where the old well for watering Stage horses is preserved and right outside your door. (How cool is that?) the suite had a beautiful old claw foot tub and the adjoining sitting room with TV was beautiful. The bedroom had a beautiful canopied four...

The Davy Crockett space was so roomy and comfortable. We enjoyed trying a sleep number bed. Hosts are helpful with the area. First week of April 2016 - best wildflowers were found out toward Longhorn State Park, up towards Inks, out to Llano and down to Fredericksburg. Loved the breakfast locale - lots of locals and hearty breakfast. I did...

I contacted Shelli on the "day of" reservations and she was extremely accommodating. We were traveling on motorcycles and had been watching an ever changing weather forecast - so were making last minute decisions. The Verandas Guest House is one block off the square of historic downtown Burnet. Shelli said we could check in a bit early if we liked...

I am working over five hours from my family and was a last minute anniversary getaway, check in by 6:30 and both my wife and I ran into constructiontion and bad accidents where the roads were shut down. I called and explained what was happening and Shelly told me not to worry, just to get there safe. I arrived about...

Great little getaway place. You can walk conveniently into the main square and several area restaurants/shops. Satellite TV was a little hokey, took some noodling to operate. Everything else in the room was well documented and the hosts were awesome.

Dear Jim, Thanks for taking the time to write this review. Also, thank you for bringing the issue with the cable tv to our attention. We were able to find a remote that runs everything, so next time y'all visit, it will be much easier! Best wishes, Jesse & Shelli The Verandas Guest House

Brief stay for date night as we explore Texas Hill Country. Super hosts that genuinely enjoy meeting and visiting with guests.
