My husband and I stayed here for an anniversary retreat. We stayed in the Sky Loft and the view was spectacular. This is a place you go to connect with nature, your partner/friends, and yourself. No TV, no bar, just an amazing setting, delicious wholesome food, and Moriah's bodywork is incredible. This truly is a sanctuary. Can't wait to return.

I travelled on my own and stayed in the Sky Loft room. It was immaculately clean as well as being simply and amply furnished. I particularly liked the communal dining arrangement. The food was fresh, vibrant and more than ample for me. Fresh fruit and other snacks were available all the time too. The vibe is easy going and accommodating...

If you would like to stay at the Rainbow Hearth and enjoy your experience, bring your own food, coffee maker, coffee, hair-dryer, cooler or mini fridge, and don’t expect to feel great about your stay or that you can relax. My husband and I regret deciding to stay at Rainbow Hearth. The host greeted us and immediately you got the...

Three of us shared the Sunset room. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Beautiful view of tree tops, birds, and Lake Buchanan from our balcony. The 3 meal a day plan was perfect for us. Every attempt was made to fulfill our wish for healthy, satisfying food choices. Great nature walks and water activities readily accessible. Friendly staff made...

We stayed in the treehouse yurt with the separate "outhouse" (Ha ha!) and it was wonderful. Very clean, comfortable, and secluded. The food was simple but delicious. The owner and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Near great hiking and wineries. You'll want to eat here because, yes, the hearth is a little remote to get anywhere else, but also...

Our Valentines weekend stay at Rainbow Hearth started when we pulled into the driveway and were greeted by friendly "Shadow" and "Sunshine" the resident 4 legged welcoming committee, followed by Scott the human caretaker. We stayed in Blue Heron suite with the wrap around deck, but had the opportunity to visit the other suites while they were empty. The yurt...

We visited Rainbow Hearth Sanctuary for our 5th anniversary in mid-October. We stayed in the oh-so-fun tree house yurt. That's right a tree house yurt! Technically its a deck built up into the trees with the yurt on the deck and a separate bathroom with a walk in 2 person soaker tub and a skylight to the stars. We loved...

Awesome, amazing. My wife was in Burnet for work over the weekend which left me with a lot of time to fill. We stayed in the yurt and it was great. I was able to fill the day with things to do around the property and I did not even experience it all. Read the book in your room it gives...

If you come here expecting a hotel, with activities, amenities, and services, you're going to be disappointed. If you come looking for a sanctuary, a place to truly unwind from your normal stresses, you're going to be delighted. Mariah and her late partner built this place up over the years since they bought the property in the 70s. Now she...

We stayed at the treehouse for our anniversary. It was the most private of all. We opted out of the food package as $48.00 a day per person for yogurt, granola, salad and soup was bit too much for our budget. We brought a cooler with lunch meats and snacks, and went out to dinner at the Overlook resteraunt at...

“The treehouse doesn't have lake views but the seclusion and the birdsong and the wind through the trees was just wonderful. Also, the two person tub in the "outhouse" was fabulous!”

“All rooms either face the lake or have a deck to watch the sunset. The exception is the yurt, because it is in the tree branches.”

“Go to the website and look at pictures, all rooms are quiet, you hear the sounds of the woods and windchimes. The Yurt is best in the fall and winter- gets too hot in the summer (its not central air). All the rooms are cute, but not all have a view. Yurt is most private.”
