I have been visiting this ranch for 30 years and never been disappointed, the food is excellent and the hospitality always exceptional. It is a great place to meet people from all over the world. I have stayed in the summer months when it is busy and also in the off season when it is quieter. It would be hard...

First we checked in and signed up for the evening horseback ride. Very important to sign up a day in advance for those. Then we went to our cabin, upon arrival our cabin was quaint and rustic, no frills expected. Large space for closet hanging clothes. Although I ended up wearing a t-shirt, jeans and boots all 3 days. Take...

Just returned from a 3 day visit with my 6 yr old grandson and I can't say enough nice things about the folks at the Mayan. Let's start with Kelly at the front desk. She was wonderful on the phone and did not disappoint in person. Just as friendly and informative as she could be and made checking in and...

Never been to a dude ranch. Great food! Excellent service! Enjoyed the cowboy breakfast and horse back riding. Beautiful grounds. Enjoyed walking around Medina lake. Great place to go with a family (with or without children).

We stayed 3 nights and wish we had been able to stay longer. The food was generous portions and so tasty; I have taken away the recipe for chili cheese with me. So much meat to eat! The horse rides were ideal for beginners. I had never been on a horse before and felt so at ease the whole time....

We appreciate your positive review about your recent stay at the ranch, and we are so happy you will be able to take a little of the Mayan home with the chili cheese recipe. Shawna certainly outdoes herself each year, finding new guest favorites. We were happy to hear that you felt safe and relaxed on the horseback rides. Our...

I have been going since I was a small child. I now take my small children with the whole family. My family has been going along with a group of friends for around 24 years now. It's a great experience for all ages, as there is so much to do. They have many scheduled activities, but our personal favorite is...

Only stayed two nights, next time will stay for a week. Accomodation was comfortable, the view from our veranda spectacular. Would have been nice to have had the ability to make a coffee in the room. Would take a kettle next time as I like a drink on waking up. Activities are in place most of the day, the family...

We are so pleased that you enjoyed your recent stay at the ranch and are planning to come again and stay with us longer. When you return, consider signing up for coffee-n-juice in the morning, a Mayan ranch guest favorite for decades. If you sign up for this service, one of the staff will come to your room at 7:15...

We had 4 adults, stayed 3 nights and we all had a great time! Our cabin was like a duplex so we had our privacy plus a small living room area where we were able to sit and chat. You have to do the cowboy breakfast! They will take you on horseback or hayride and the food was awesome. Deer...

A group of my medical school friends and I went to Mayan Dude ranch for a post-residency match celebration, and there could not have been a more perfect place!! We had the pleasure of staying at the Mayan Dude Ranch for Spring Break. Our kids are 15, 13, and 9. What's better than being woken up with coffee and juice and taking a hayride to a cowboy breakfast with 100's of deer (Oh! And three sheep.) following you? We loved our 2 horseback rides a day, the wild peacocks,...
