We stayed at Toqua RV Campground over the weekend. We took our travel trailer and parked it in campsite #141. We arrive Saturday morning but we left South Carolina the evening before and had to park our camper in a parking lot of a race track since Toqua doesn't allow check-in's after 7:00 pm. (First time we've experienced that anywhere...

We spent a week here (Monday - Friday) and couldn't have been more pleased. The facilities were clean and very functional. We had multiple changes in our reservation and were so blessed by the friendliness and flexibility of the staff in that tedious process. I love that my kids got to "be kids" in a safe (gated) community -they enjoyed...

I haven't stayed there, but I am a local who drives by there almost daily. What I can say about it is simply this. It's clean and very pretty. In the times I have gone in the store there they where very nice to me. It has a very nice view too!

We won't be going back. Host manager is beyond rude/hateful/unprofessional. My husband's truck had a flat tire and we were 30 minutes late getting our camper out of our site and she threatened to have it moved. At the point of threatening us, we had an hour still to get out. She did not care that there were circumstances beyond...

My family and friends have been going to toqua for the past three summers. This weekend will definitely be our last there. The campground host is completely rude and disrespectful. The host ruined our entire memorial day weekend. The host there fells it necessary to assert her authority over the guests visiting the campground while letting seasonal spot holders continuously...

Nice campground but the sites are not level- many lacking gravel which needs to be replaced and grated. Weeds in the sites coming through the gravel and Many fire ants and hills all over the campground. My dog had bites on her paws from walking through the grass. Extreme lack of boat slips- only 16 and none available to rent...

We said here last year.....New campground. No shade due to newly planted trees...Located right on the lake which is nice...Lots & lots of fulltimers there. So don't plan on getting any sites directly on the lake....You can't tie your boat up to the bank, Cost $10 a night for slip (if one is even available) there again the have lots...
