I wanted to give April my solo traveler review! There are many couples and families here who rented the Octagon Room and the Barn, but I contacted April to ask if there would be an option for a solo traveler. I arrived right after the 4th of July weekend on a super cool roadtrip through the south. I've always wanted...

As everyone else has said, the land is breathtaking. You could just stay on the property, with the stocked pond, and be perfectly happy. It is about 30 minutes to gorgeous hikes and bike rides in the Smokey Mountains National Park. Townsend is DEFINITELY a better option than Gatlinburg and Pigeon Hole. which are overdeveloped and honky tonk. I wish...

We stayed for a week and the Cabin. It is so roomy and a very unique design. The kids had a blast playing the all the unique "closets" (One is very large with doors that are like a barn stall) and areas of the cabin. It was easy to stay in on the days that were too hot to go...

We stayed here for 2 nights during our US holiday. It was without doubt the most beautifully located place we stayed during our whole trip. We had the Octagon room, and to sit in the hot tub watching the fireflies and the stars come out was truly memorable. We bought groceries to supply our breakfasts and our first evening meal,...

This is such a beautiful property with spectacular views of the mountains. My husband, Steven and I were married here on the 12th of May and were able to get some amazing wedding photos around this 60+ acre manor. There is a magnificent party barn that is great for wedding receptions or other events. We rented the Hayloft above the...

As a photographer, I wanted to stay nearest to Cades Cove in the Smokies, and this place was awesome for it location-wise. The unit we stayed in had a full kitchen, which we love for making breakfast to go, and making lunches for the cooler the next day. The owner is very sweet and seems like she interacts with guests...

We stayed in the upstairs of the barn for several days. The occasion was our wedding anniversary. We were very comfortable. We only used the hot tub once, since the weather was still quite warm. The rooms were clean. The air conditioners worked well. We didn't do a lot of sightseeing, although we did go to Gatlinburg one day. Mainly...

What an impressive inn! We stay at the manor whenever we cycle the area, and returning to this gorgeous place at the end of a long day of pedaling....soaking in the hot-tub, preparing something from the kitchen, walking the lovely grounds where horses roam free; it is just perfect. Country Manor Acres is the only place to stay when visiting...

My family and I did alot of research to find the right place to stay when we wanted to go to the mountains. There are so many choices, it was hard to find the right one. You just never know if a place is as goods as they make it sound, or if there are hidden charges. Boy, did we...

Looking for a genuine National Park experience on the Tennessee side of the Smoky Mountains? To be honest, it's not easy to find. The towns of Gatlinberg and Pigeon Forge are the worse my husband and I have ever seen in our extensive national park travels. Their garish neon lights are worse than any Florida experience, bar none. How glad...

“Octagon Suite is worth the few extra dollars for a kitchen and balcony!”

“If you only have 2 people (Couples) ask for the Octagon room first. The others are great also but this is the Best room that they have. Second pick is the Threshold Suite. The Octagon Suite is very large but the bed is in the room (Studio) That's why I said great for two or if you have a second room for the others than this is a great room to have along with it. Plenty of room for fun games ect”
