My dad and I come to the smokies every fall. We have stayed here once before years ago and we love it! the room is very spacious and our room had a nice little balcony. Everything was clean. Some reviews said room was dated, but our room (156) seemed very new....maybe they just redecorated some and haven't done others. Also...

I visit the Smoky Mountains at least once a year, when I am there overnight I like to stay at the Tally Ho Inn. It is close to my favorite places in the park, Tremont and Cades Cove. I have stayed in the new/old section and the historic section. Staying in the old historic section is a cool experience. Be...

A little dated, but nice place to stay. Everyone was very kind. The rooms were very clean. We plan to stay there again for the Vacation Races Smokey Mountain Half Marathon next year. There is a restaurant next to the hotel, walking distance, which made it convenient to get a bite to eat.

Out of the 1940's! Clean but old smell. Metal frame bed, pull down shades, phone booth shower, overstuffed chair, no light to read & tube type TV. For $96, go down the road to a nice modern motel unless you just want to reminisce the past.

We had no reservations. Room was very small, quaint . Comfortable, no amenities. Bathroom was extremely small, needed new fixtures. Shower only. We have stayed there on previous trips and rooms were adequate.

This is an older hotel but very well maintained and clean. We have stayed several times and are booked for two more visits this year. The pool is nice, the views are great and the price is very reasonable. They accept AAA and other discounts.

This is an older, family run business, closest to park entrance can't beat the location for convenience and avoiding the commercialism of Gatlinburg. Most rooms have a lively read view of the hills towards the Smokies, some with patios or balconies. Note that there are many variations in the rooms so ask for what you want. Ours was in the...

Stayed here for one night for business. Used their conference room. Nice facility with restaurant just next door. Only issue we had was spotty Internet when in the room and the restaurant want open for dinner when we tried to go around 8:00 on a week night. Not sure if they have seasonal hours or what. We managed to find...
