    The website lists JOYA NYC fragrance as an amenity. Are there fragrances sprayed in the common areas such as the lobby or are fragrances otherwise in the ventilation system? If so, that is dangerous to customers as those fragrances are harmful and toxic. Hotel guests should be able to breathe clean air not adulterated air full of chemicals.
    I absolutely agree with you and to be completely honest, they don’t overload the building and hotel rooms with a lot of fragrances. I mean don’t get me wrong, the place smells nice but not enough to the point where you can’t breathe. They are more than welcome to accommodate you and all of your needs as well. I absolutely loved the hotel. Definitely recommend going and staying there.

    Is there an outdoor pool and/or hot tub? Is there drink service at the pool?
    There is an indoor pool and hot tub, and an outdoor patio, adjacent to the pool, on the same level as a quite decent gym space. I am not aware of there being service of any kind to the pool or patio, other than cleaning.

    Is there a shuttle from the airport? Debating on renting a car or not.
    Hello, The Renaissance does not offer a shuttle from the airport but no car is needed! just take a taxi or uber into town from the airport (about a 12 minute drive) and once your downtown everything is in walking distance.
