Some last minute changes to my trip to Nashville had me scrambling for an affordable hotel. I kept going back and forth between the Millennium Maxwell House and a more popular hotel chain. What really sold me on this was the free airport AND free downtown shuttle. So with some hesitation-- I booked. I must say though -- MOST of...

This hotel was advertised as a downtown hotel. It is not!. Thankfully it had a shuttle but there were times we needed to take a cab from downtown which was not cheap. The front desk was helpful and friendly, but the room left a lot to be desired. It was worn with chipped paint and noisy air conditioning. Glasses were...

Priceline scammed me and said this hotel was comparable to a Marriott hotel downtown, I got a run down, rusted room on the out skirts of the city. Dirty floors, mediocre room service, this place could not have been further from the city. If your looking for a hotel that is rated one star this would be perfect, I was...

Where to begin? First, they lost our reservation. They were able to give us a room at the group rate, so great. Our room was tired and rundown. The bathroom was one of the smallest I have seen and the shower clearly had not been cleaned, as there were stray hairs on the tile. Went down to the restaurant only...

While the lobby was clean, the rooms however need a serious deep cleaning. Furniture covered in dust, corners of bathrooms moldy, wallpaper with water damage and mold in the shower grout. Coffee maker was unplugged, I was covered in dust after trying to find an outlet to plug it into. Additionally, there were too many things plugged into too few...

We stayed in this hotel this past week for business. It is cheap, has a comfortable bed (terrible pillows) and large TV's in rooms. That is where the good ends. On the outside it looks great friendly staff well maintained lobby. Get to the room and your nightmare will begin. First the shower and the bathroom was right out of...

We stayed at this hotel for a meeting. Upon arrival Leslie at front desk greeted us with a welcoming smile, very professional. I had read previous post, about the front desk personnel and encountered none of that during our stay. Leslie always had a friendly hello, during our stay. We were given a room on the ninth floor. Our shower would barely drain so it was almost like taking a bad bath. Room service was great but very expensive. There are signs stating there are vending machines but the only machines are soda machines and out of 8 floors we found 1 that worked (we didn't try the 10th floor). I booked this room thru hotwire....check in went smooth but after that it was all down hill. My room smelt and the pillows were the worst. Saying the room was basic at best is kind. Wanted to order room service but they don't make it easy with no menu in your room. After spending close to 70 dollars on take out, I returned to the hotel to go to my room and the elevator breaks. After being trapped on the elevator for close to 20 min(can u believe it was Friday13) the doors finally open and a hotel employee tried to force us to stay on the broken elevator claiming "if we try to walk of the elevator and it drops we could be hurt"...so what would have happened, if we stayed on the broken elevator, waiting on a nonexistent repair man and it dropped?!?!Needless to say I had to fight for my life and push past the employee. Then walk up and down 5 flights just to get some cutlery, because I was to shaken to use the broken elevator again. Front desk did NOTHING when I tried to tell them about my concerns and even implyed the people on the elevator were responsible. My food was cold by the time I got back to it. So I went to sleep. Woke up to try for some coffee and found out I couldn't EVEN get a complimentary cup of coffee....had to endure the nauseating stench of vomit on the elevator ride back to my room, Someone had vomited and clearly it hasn't been cleaned up just to get to my room and the key isn't working. I do staycations 2x a month. I've stayed at almost every relevant hotel in Nashville, this was my first experience at the Maxwell Milliniem Hotel and it was SORELY DISAPPOINTING!!! For close to 300$ they should be ashamed. My question is where is the accountibility??
