This hotel is close to downtown without the downtown price. Hotel is very nice, friendly staff, and hotel will shuttle you wherever you need or want to go. Restaurant is nice with resonable prices. Room size is good. This hotel also has a bar. I recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Nashville.

We went with a group of over 50. They checked us in easily with no problems and quickly. They did not have enough breakfast vouchers for the days we were to stay but quickly remedied that problem. The desk clerks were all nice except one young man that was defensive which there was no cause fir his attitude. The rooms...

I stayed at Millennium Maxwell House for business and it ranks with the worst ever. Walking into the lobby I was greeted with a horrid stench of mildew. Their fix was to spray Febreeze in the afternoon. Walls are paper thin and you can hear your neighbors. My toilet seat was not cleaned when I checked into my room. Corners...

The hotel was clean and comfy , perhaps a little dated, the breakfast buffet was good ,and cleaning staff were really friendly BUT if you have come to experience wonderful Nashville choose somewhere more central. As we had no car we relied on the promised shuttle bus which was regularly late Once we waited over two hours . We would...

Excellent hotel, clean rooms, great breakfast buffett. Lots of banquet room space to accomodate our large group. Hotel staff was friend and accomodating. We were impressed to hear all of the famous people who had stayed there in the past. This is an older hotel which has been renovated. I would definitely consider staying here again in the future, great...

This older property is struggling to please. Has good bones, but needs some loving care. Hotel provides all amenities to make your stay comfortable if you just need a place to sleep. There is a pool, shop, restaurant and bar. Hotel provides shuttle to downtown. .

We booked this hotel for three reasons and it failed to deliver on all. Firstly, it had a pool and we wanted to do some relaxing. However we were told upon arriving that the pool was still closed for the season (despite the weather having been over 75degrees for the last few weeks) but we could still sunbathe on the...

Not sure what all the angry reviews are about. I found a great deal for this place for a 4 day work holiday weekend and I was a little nervous, expecting a motel 6. It's certainly not a Shangri-La hotel, but it has surpassed my expectations. Nothing shabby or run down about it. Great location about 2 miles/ 10 minute...

As a hotel this place is ok if you hold their feet to the fire - but in general it is an aging- past prime, hotel trading on the name Maxwell house . The original maxwell house was elsewhere in Nashville and burned down many times and was never rebuilt. This is just the name Maxwell House" attached to the...

Positives first: the bed was wonderful - firm mattress, good linen; the food in the restaurant was quite good (try the catfish); views of the city are really great. Negatives: the rooms are very dated - no refrigerators in rooms, nor microwaves; tiles in bathroom contain mildew (needs re-grouting); shower needs to be replaced; taller commodes are needed; wooden furnishing...

I booked this room thru hotwire....check in went smooth but after that it was all down hill. My room smelt and the pillows were the worst. Saying the room was basic at best is kind. Wanted to order room service but they don't make it easy with no menu in your room. After spending close to 70 dollars on take out, I returned to the hotel to go to my room and the elevator breaks. After being trapped on the elevator for close to 20 min(can u believe it was Friday13) the doors finally open and a hotel employee tried to force us to stay on the broken elevator claiming "if we try to walk of the elevator and it drops we could be hurt"...so what would have happened, if we stayed on the broken elevator, waiting on a nonexistent repair man and it dropped?!?!Needless to say I had to fight for my life and push past the employee. Then walk up and down 5 flights just to get some cutlery, because I was to shaken to use the broken elevator again. Front desk did NOTHING when I tried to tell them about my concerns and even implyed the people on the elevator were responsible. My food was cold by the time I got back to it. So I went to sleep. Woke up to try for some coffee and found out I couldn't EVEN get a complimentary cup of coffee....had to endure the nauseating stench of vomit on the elevator ride back to my room, Someone had vomited and clearly it hasn't been cleaned up just to get to my room and the key isn't working. I do staycations 2x a month. I've stayed at almost every relevant hotel in Nashville, this was my first experience at the Maxwell Milliniem Hotel and it was SORELY DISAPPOINTING!!! For close to 300$ they should be ashamed. My question is where is the accountibility??
