My boyfriend and I were originally just going to walk around the hotel. Some tips: Parking - park at the edge of Opry Mills mall and walk to the hotel = free parking. I read that tip on here. Otherwise crazy parking fee at hotel. At this hotel & other tourist attractions, if you are student or military ask for...

This is a massive, garish, unwieldy "meeting" resort that knows it has a captive audience. Because it's basically adjacent to nothing, there's no reason to be there if you're not at a conference there or going to Opryland, and the hotel knows that and treats its guests as commodities. The hotel is ridiculously large - it's possible to have a...

This is my first scathing review on TA which speaks volumes. My biggest complaint is the fact that the hotel deliberately failed to inform me (at the time of reservation and check-in) that its room rates are charged PER PERSON until you are checking out. I have NEVER stayed at a lodging that CHARGES PER PERSON nor would I ever....

The hotel is gorgeous! The staff from when you check in, the staff taking care of your room, and the staff to when you check out are awesome. Had a couple of issues with my room and used the "Consider It Done" button. The issues were taken care of immediately and after each incident, they followed up with a phone...

We were so excited to stay at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel for a four night, five day conference my wife was attending and also simultaneous celebrating her 50th birthday. Upon check in the hotel looked fantastic, beautiful atmosphere, gardens, waterfalls, plants. Our excitement grew. We were given a balcony room overlooking the gardens. Opened the door to the room and...

The property is amazing with 2882 rooms and the largest in the U.S. that doesn't have a casino attached to it. It felt like a Vegas hotel until you try and use the valet during the weekend. Unorganized with little or no supervision these young people are doing the best they can they just need a better system and a...

Marriott platinum member here. I stayed here on business though it's a little far from downtown Nashville. Seems like a good place for a family vacation as opposed to business trip. I ate at the sushi restaurant and found the quality to be good but the price is double what you would pay in a city like Boston for the...

Came here with my wife for a convention. The hotel is enormous and seems to stretch out forever. You get the hang of it before you know it. Great for walking. It's really a great property for what it's intended to be. It services families and convention people alike and does it rather well. A tremendous restaurant selection of very...

The hotel is amazing and massive. Beautiful plantings everywhere. However, easy to get lost even with a map. Ran into lots of people that had difficulty finding their way. Several restaurants to choose from and a few cafes. Cafes are expensive. Poured rain one day and many leaks were noticed. Company needs to fix these before hotel expansion begins. Overall,...

There for business conference, stayed at off site hotel because there were no available conference block rooms, despite registering a full 2 months prior to the conference. No bottled water or coffee provided, you have to pay for glorified Kurig dispensed coffee at 3.75 a cup!, meals are pricey, as are drinks- 2 bloody mary's cost nearly 30$ ridiculous.
