A very friendly welcome with recommendations for eating and even an offer to change rooms to be further away from the road but it was so quiet anyway which was appreciated Our room was very neat and clean and the bed was comfortable. One of the best for cleanliness. within easy reach of eateries and main street.

Thanks. Quiet, clean, very comfortable beds and close to town. Had everything we needed. The manager was very kind to us. She gave us larger rooms because they had spare rooms and helped us store our bikes. Will definitely stay here again. Very welcoming.

Lovely quiet spot easy walking distance to town. The bed, bedding and room was very comfortable and clean. The kids loved the pool! The owner was lovely and a pleasure to deal with. We would definitely recommend staying at this cute little motel.

We stayed here in February 2012, and found the accommodation to be clean and comfortable. It was basic, but very acceptable and what we expected.
The usual managers were away, and a young lady was in charge. She was polite, but did not know anything about the wifi.
We had specifically chosen this motel, as it was en route, and offered wifi internet connection - a great necessity to us. It was not meant to be free, and we accepted that we would have to pay for the service (a basic $5 for an hour). However, the wifi did not work on our Mac computer or our Linux computer. The problem was that it simply asked for a password, and did not ask for any money!
The young lady could not help, but referred us to the instructions in the room. The instructions in the room referred to asking reception!
We believe that the wifi (if any) only works on Microsoft Windows computers, and no other operating system.
We were going to contact the owner via the website, but Google has a standard notice stating "This site may harm your computer". We decided not to bother to complain.
Something seems odd about this motel, although the accommodation was very satisfactory.

Stayed at the Yea motel overnight with 3 children. It was a short walk to the main street. This quiet motel is tucked away from traffic passing through the main street. Nice clean rooms with working air-conditioning. Lovely staff.

Small but very clean rooms suitable for a night or two. Small wall mounted tv with all free to air channels. Stand up shower no bath Good bed firm but not hard good linen.
Parking outside room reasonable size heated pool BBQ area and small garden with chairs if you just want to chill. Walking distance to main street and plenty of food choices.

Worth staying due to proximity to NEast melbourne, and priced accordingly. Tidy but needs some more attention to detail, eg blocked sink. Struck a youth group who spent the night kicking soccer ball on the gravel car park, which was full of cars. Management didn't step in.
Still a short stroll to the shops and the Amble Inn takeaway( not on trip adviser) food was consistent and tasty.

We say yea to the Yea Motel, because it's a good clean average motel in a very pleasant town. We've stayed here on two occasions, now. It is an older style motel which is not a problem in itself, but we found one or two minor issues.
We like the cafe and pubs in Yea. We're particularly fond of the Rail Trail opportunities it affords for bicycling. We're also very enthusiastic about the Yea wetlands, a wonderful community restoration project, which we have visited twice, now. It's a terrific place to walk, ride and do birdwatching.
We'd be happy to stay at the Yea Motel, again.

Yea Motel was a basic 2-3 star motel about 3 minutes out've Yea. It was extremely clean, had comfy beds & a good hot shower. Could do with a bit of a spruce up with paint work and decore etc. Reception staff lovely. Cute little town to visit :)

Very expensive for an old property, very basic. Breakfast was very nice, good quality, but again pretty expensive. In future would travel through Yea.
