Our 2 night stay at Hanging Rock Views was perfect. We were the only Guests so had the quietest and most peaceful stay and appreciate our good fortune. At arrival we met the lovely Housekeeper, who maintains the property in fastidious condition. A credit to her.
A Communal Room runs along the rear behind the 4 Units and provides Entry into the building from the huge Car Park at rear. The Units each have a Touch Screen Keypad on their door to enable contactless access. Our Code was advised of in advance. All very easy.
Our Unit was spacious, luxurious, efficient and spotless. Decor attractive and functional. Bed, bedding and Lounge seating very comfortable. Safe and spacious bathroom with a Double Shower. The huge rainwater shower heads were fantastic. I missed some hooks to hang bits but there was a lot of storage space provided. More than usual in fact. The Kitchen was amazing. We only ever ate in and all easy. Breakfast Basket provided was full of an abundance of excellent basics. Crusty bread, butter, eggs, bacon, delicious baby tomatoes and a bottle of fresh milk. I suspect most people make the effort to eat Lunch and Dinner in the many restaurants in the nearby towns. It was very easy to get to several beautiful nearby Historical sites and places. Scenically and Photographically, the property is gorgeous. The Patios in front of each Unit provide the perfect place to sit out and enjoy the truly sensational Hanging Rock and the Macedon Ranges. Loved random quirky garden statuary and the mellow kangaroos calmly ambling about. For groups staying there together the broader property is as good as it gets for enabling outdoor spaces and garden areas to gather. The Fire Pit would be perfect year round there for evenings. The Communal Room was very well equipped with extra kitchen supplies, Dining table and chairs, lounges, books and games for all guests to use. The big Main Bathroom with luxurious tub looked inviting. Had such a blissful stay here, highly recommend it.

Stayed for 2 nights as part of a Vic road trip and was looking for somewhere relaxing. It did not disappoint. The room was warm (underfloor heating was amazing) and comfortable. The views were stunning and the huge number of wild roos grazing quietly outside were fantastic to see. We requested veggie breakfast options and the supplies were lovely - also the snacks were a wonderful surprise. The communal spaces were beautifully presented and had everything you might need for a stay.
Very relaxing and peaceful.

We wanted to get away from the busyness of the city, so a weekend amongst the backdrop of Hanging Rock & the Macedon Ranges with Roos galore was exactly what we needed.
The property was easy to find, Chris’s instructions were super easy to follow & our room was clean & tidy. Bathroom is a good size too. The view from our bed is stunning & the Roos are non perturbed with our presence.
All the little touches are great & generous….
The only small downside is that the walls are paper thin & you can hear pretty much everything next door.
It’s beautiful, great location & we thoroughly recommend!

We were so delighted with our stay in a King Suite at Hanging Rock Views. It's so beautiful - the apartment was luxurious and modern, with an amazing bathroom, huge TV, nice kitchen with a fresh basket of breakfast goodies - Chris Nicholson's emails were surprisingly thoughtful in the lead up to our stay. We were supplied with some vegan options as we had requested and this seemed no hassle to the management at all. With gorgeous countryside, it was amazing to see so many deer, rabbits and kangaroos also enjoying the serenity! Next time we will return with some other couples or family - the large entrance is an ideal share space with lounge, dining and kitchen would really lend itself to a group getaway also. This was a much - needed time for relaxing, but was very short drives to Woodend, Hanging Rock itself and lots of pleasant day trip options ( we did Kyneton, Hepburn Springs and Daylesford easily in one day ) Our only regret is that we couldn't stay here longer.

We just had two days at Hanging Rock Views roaming around the region, and it was a completely enjoyable experience surrounded by kangaroos. Hanging Rock Views is a lovely escape. And we will be back for sure.
