Located centrally in Queenscliff only 100metres and a Park from the beach, this classic Victorian Hotel is a charmer. Previously owned and operated by the legendry Mietta it is like walking into a time warp. The ground floor is a wonderful mix of original drawing rooms, bar and dining room. Our bedroom was neat and compact with original Victorian fittings,...

Perfectly situated close to the beach and town - short walks to both. Loved the history of this 1887 heritage treasure with many of its original fittings & fixtures in place with modern amenities to the rooms. Beautiful great room, sitting rooms and reception with ornate floors & stained glass windows. The included breakfast was well presented in a beautiful...

Christmas lunch. What a joke. Started off with frozen rolls that we waited an hr for... And just got worse from then. Still hadn't received our meals for 2.5hrs!!! Ended up walking out of there, they still wanted us to pay!!! and threatened to call the police when we refused. So disgraceful!!!

Great looking building but that's where it ends it needs a good clean and a make over is well overdue. Sorry to say but the place is a shambles staff are not interested rooms are the worst I've ever stayed in if I'd paid for an economy motel room I would have said to my self well that's what you...

This is a grand 19th century building with atmospheric dining and sitting rooms just across from Queenscliff beach. If you come here don't expect a generic Hyatt/Sheraton etc experience because it was built in the 19th century, not 2 years ago. This was our third visit in the last few years and we will definitely come back. The staff were...

I know the hotel has had mixed reviews but we had a fabulous stay and dinner in the restaurant. The hotel is old school, old world charm!!!!!! so if you are after wifi and flat screen TV's this is not for you. The staff were so welcoming and eager to make our stay enjoyable. The restaurant was just as good....

Booked this hotel for 21 people. Management are not very accommodating. In fact I would say damn right rude. Our hostess was very nice but slow. For we spent over $1700 just on lunch and for this we received nothing but attitude. Even our aged father was about to be asked to leave one of the sitting rooms even though...

If you're looking for a place to stay, the Queenscliff hotel is not the place to stay as their rooms are quite terrible. The beds were like sleeping on a footpath because they were uncomfortable, the staff were't very welcoming, we had to wait at the bar half an hour just to get a couple of drinks, the windows kept...

Stayed here last weekend . Place is defiantly a step back in time and very old. It's a beautiful old building that needs a it of work just to bring standards up not to change the heritage as such. Rooms are very basic and could use a big lift for the price . You could have a mini bar etc...
