Well, after booking an overnight stay in Queenscliffe on our way home, we were not sure what to expect at Rubys. We were very pleasantly surprised. Located off the main strip of Queenscliffe but walking distance to everything, Rubys offer a very pleasant accommodation in a very comfortable Apartment style. Bed comfortable. Bathroom excellent with a recently renovated tiled and...

The sheer beauty of the GOR tends to encourage you to drive too far, to explore just a bit further. Consequently, we got to Rubies later than planned at the end of two very long, very busy days. It was just what we needed, a clean, quiet, comfortable suite with basic kitchen facilities giving the option to self cater, if...

Absolutely loved staying here! We stayed in the deluxe suite which was the whole upstairs area and it was great. Really spacious, clean and in such a great location. The owner called to check on us and make sure we had everything and was really friendly and helpful. Being winter so we didn't get to use the deck too much...

My husband and I spent a very pleasant night at Ruby's. We were picked up from the ferry by Noelle which was a lovely gesture. The apartment was spacious and comfortable with a lovely bathroom. It is in a great location close to the main street. We would definitely stay again.

There is no reception, no office or signs to assist. The (wotif) booking form states to 'ring the number on the confirmation' - and there isn't 1. Can't tell me this hasn't happened before - the couple that arrived just a bit earlier helped me sort this mess out - they were told by the very apologetic manager over the...

Stayed here (again) recently for a night, in the upstairs apartment. This is the converted upper level of a house - spacious, filled with light and windows all around, giving views out over the rooftops of Queenscliff and heaps of sky. My favourite sitting place is next to the large windows, surrounded by heaps of pillows and cushions, watching the...

Our booking describes our room as a 'beach side apartment'. But the coast was more than two streets away. In fact it didn't feel like a holiday let at all, rather a 1970s dated room. Yes Ruby's was a huge letdown. OK we were only here 1 night but even so. The apartment read 'studio ' was a decent size...

I enjoyed a quiet night at Ruby's whilst on a cycling trip around the Bay. All expected amenities at hand and a very comfortable bed. Moreover, it is ideally located being a short walk from the main street.

We stayed in the Beachside apartment. It was a large room with a separate small bathroom/toilet. We did not meet Noelle during our stay but communicated with her on the phone. The upside is the location is great. A short walk to the beach, restaurants and other attractions. The room has a microwave, kettle, toaster, bar fridge, crockery, etc.. Tea...
