Fantastic overnight stay, from an easy ferry from Docklands to the Portarlington pier, then a motorised Tuk-Tuk to the fantastic Pelican Sands B&B.Accomodation was faultless, the owners could not have done enough, offering car lifts etc,..and even lent us their own bikes so we could go out and explore ourselves. 10/10 😃

Great showers & ensuite bathrooms. No indoor bike storage if you're there just to race in the triathlon but outside storage available. Enjoy!

This lovely B&B is run by a very friendly couple, who can't do enough for you. Our bathroom had a huge double spa, and the breakfasts are wonderful. Thanks for looking after us. Sitting upstairs on the balcony with a glass of wine watching the sun set is a must.

Our experience of Pelican Sands was the same as the average reviews on here. The house and rooms are lovely and immaculately kept, the bathrooms are perfect. Unfortunately there is very little privacy as the rooms are opposite each other and you can hear everything outside of your room, particularly if you are sharing the house with noisy people. As...

Mick had an eye operation a few days before you arrived and it did not go well. He was struggling with his sight so he may not have been as chirpy as he usually is.
