We booked a room and arrived after reception closed. Key was in the door and room was clean and tidy. Only problem for us was the room has a double bed and being around 6 feet the bd is too short. The bathroom is functional and clean. Overall the room was adequate for our needs for an overnight stop. The...

We booked for one night on our way to Mildura. We requested a family suite with a spa. We were very happy with what we got - it was quiet, clean and a big suite - one bedroom with double bed, tv, table and 6 chairs, fridge, toaster, kettle, tea, coffee biscuits. Adjoining bedroom with 2 single beds and a...

Sudden changes to our travel plans meant us having to stay in Ouyen on our way to Adelaide from Dubbo and we happened to be in luck when we found a vacancy that suited our needs at the Mallee View. We were tired after travelling from West Wyalong on motorbikes all day and all we wanted was a hot shower,...

we booked 2 family suites due to travelling with 4 adults and 6 kids. I expected a motel that was a bit dated, I had read the previous reviews. I was rather disappointed to find both suites in need of cleaning, the bathroom exhaust couldn't work under the weight of all the dirt and grime and obviously had not been...

I was quoted $85, they charged me $90, true value was closer to $60/night. The extra money isn't being ploughed back into improving the amenities or decor. There wasn't even a bowl and spoon for my own muesli. Would wifi be so hard?

We stayed at this little motel in Ouyen it is very old style accommodation, low slung concrete style from the sixties maybe but the reception was warm and friendly, the family room was amazingly clean and well appointed all for $100.00 per night. We had a lovely meal at the very historic local pub with a very decent bottle of...

Our preferred motel was booked out so we checked this number out. Heater was REALLY loud and the room was tiny, rough, poorly appointed but otherwise clean and comfortable. Didn't have a shower because it was a bit small and poky and we preferred to just get on the bike and bail. Wouldn't stay again by choice.

Clean, comfortable, good bed, bathroom that worked, lovingly folded towels, biscuits 'baked in rural Australia', no fuss, no frills, terrible exterior but a happy first night on our road tour and great value for money.

Cheap accommodation for a single night on route from Adelaide to Sydney. Was a cold night so we had the reverse cycle a/c running to keep warm. Was quite a noisy unit but not a lot stops me from sleeping. Sheets were clean and blankets warm. Shower was not clean but fresh towels etc were provided. Tea and coffee with...

“there is 1 room with a spa so even though its close to Mallee highway its good value and no real traffic noise at night. There is no aircon in second bedroom so may be a tad warm in summer.”
