Classic case of being oversold, as it is more of a high end holiday park than luxury accommodation. Think lots of kids running everywhere, an overcrowded pool and slightly tired cabins and you get the idea. Our cabin was grubby and dated with the previous occupants' mosquitos squashed on every wall and a strange smell coming from the sofa, although...

One bedroom unit was booked on McMillian web site in October 2016 for Jan 2017. Site indicated a bath with shower was part of the offering. Arrived to find we were put in a unit with a bathroom fitted out for people with disabilities - a bath is not part of such a fit out for fairly obvious reasons. When...

Wonderful short stay with the family in McMillans in a 3 bedroom spa villa. What a beautiful location! Villa was equipped with everything we needed. The games room was allot of fun and pool clean and warm. The resort is located in a tranquil spot overlooking the pristine lake. Boat hire is cheap (great way to spend a morning exploring...

What a lovely place to stay. We stayed in a one bedroom cottage with large balcony & Barby over looking lovely gardens. This property has quite a few different choices in accommodation from 1-4 bedroom cottages on 6 acres of beautiful gardens and lilly lagoon directly across from the Metung lake and boardwalk. Tennis, Games room, Pool and more. We...

We had a fab weekend at McMillans of Metung Resort. Our four bedroom Cottage was spacious for two families although we moved the downstairs mattress upstairs as it was an external access door only. Otherwise the cottage was amazing bright and airy and plenty of little extras like a decent amount of dishwashing liquid washing powder etc. The kitchen was...

These cottages are situated in an idyllic location in the beautiful village of Metung. Very good value and would have got a perfect score if not for the strange bathroom setup in our 2 bedroom cabin. Having said that the beds were great. Beautiful fresh linen of good quality. Plentiful towells. Well stocked cupboards. Very comfy couches and stunning views!...

We 4 elderlies thoroughly enjoyed the accommodation offered. Have already planned to return & have recommended it to friends. Unit had three double/queen beds, spa, 2 toilet/bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, dining/lounge area & balcony with some water views & electric bbq (very slow to heat up). Even for us oldies it was probably 10 mins walk to shops/hotel. Fairly steep...

Absolutely stunning location and even prettier in person, McMillans surpassed our expectations on arrival. Bring your fishing rod and enjoy the private pier, or relive your youth on old school video arcade games in the recreation room. A short walk (15 minutes) along the boardwalk will take you into town for a pint at the Metung Pub. Perfect!

We stayed in a one bedroom cottage within the sprawling parklands that make up this accommodation complex. The cottages accommodate couples or larger families in this small resort town of Metung with access to boating, fishing, swimming and just relaxing. The complex had a private swimming pool for guests as well as a playground for smaller children. There is a...

Booked a 4 bedroom cottage with 8 guests. It was very clean and tidy upon entry and very relaxing. Everythibg was perfect except whe they prepared our cottage before arrival they had opened up the windows which would have been nice if they had flywire on them. The toilet and some bedrooms had heaps of mozzies in there. My friend...
