Accommodation review - Stellar location, quaint country pub that doesn't capitalise on its virtues of potentially being a fabulous place to stay. The accommodation although liveable and clean need some TLC. The carpet has seen better days as has the paint work. The bathroom and fixtures in the room are many, many years old. Even little things like bare globes...

Fantastic location! You can hear the surf at night! Extremely comfortable bed and a huge room with spa. Welcomed by the manager like an old friend. But... huge prices for dinner and drinks, although generous serves and very tasty.

Went for a meal twice while camping nearby. Great meals both times. Bar staff are friendly and helpful. We particularly liked the scallop salad entree, which was beautifully cooked. Almost a main. We also had seafood chowder (excellent) and the flathead (also excellent) Very reasonable prices (including in the bottle shop) Brilliant sitting on the spacious deck watching the sun...

You must order the scallop salad, simply divine. Although an entree there were lots of scallops, so fresh and tender and beautifully presented with an orange and rocket salad. What a lucky find after a long drive. Wish we would still be there for dinner.

Went off the Princes Highway and drove there via Cape Conran. Marlo is a lovely area at the mouth of the Snowy River. Lunch was very tasty and staff very friendly. There was a wedding on the lawns - a great venue. Highly recommended.

Happy hour 6 till 7pm 1/2 price drinks and complementary bar snacks a winner. The pub has the local support and they all make you feel welcome. A great bistro dinner on the deck. Then live music back in the bar. We had a blast thank you.

Busy Saturday night (Feb 18). Needed to book table in advance. Fairly fast service. Barramundi dish with tomatoes and wine wine was very good. All meals coming out from kitchen looked inviting and of a reasonable size.

Old style country hotel with great views of the Snowy River estuary. Great elfresco dining on large outdoor deck. Ordered seafood entrees of scallops and squid. Both great dishes but the scallops stood out as one of the best dishes ofscallops I have ever had. Beautifully presented and more in keeping with something you would be served in a quality...

We stayed at Marlo Hotel for a few nights on our way up the coast. The Corringal room was pleasant, clean and the bed was comfy but there is a problem with one of the doors. Twice we came back to our room to find our door left ajar despite locking both doors as well as the verandah doors (there...

We drove from lakes entrance to Marlo. This was a plesant drive and we were surprised to find what a great little costal town Marlo was. The hotel didnt look much from the outside apart from the large deck. There were helicopters parked out the front which we think were tour helicopters who stopped in for lunch. It was amazing...
