My wife and I spent 3 nights at Karbeethong as part of a 30th wedding anniversary trip to Victoria. Other reviewers have discussed the facilities which the lodge offers so i won't repeat them here. We enjoyed the stay at the lodge and liked the...More

No, part of the beauty of the place is that it doesn't have TV/Foxtel and you don't miss it. In fact, that is one of the things that make it special. The Guests actually talk to each other and the kids do things they normally wouldn't such as board games, card games, reading etc rather than sitting in front of "the Box" and not communicating. Don't take the lack of having a TV as a negative, it's actually a positive. There is a great little pub in town, a picture theatre and your days will be relaxing exploring the beaches, lakes area, bushwalking or just lazing on the front verandah taking in the views.
You'll enjoy your stay.
