Our overseas guests include visiting academics and business connections. The farmers arms provides a welcoming but proffessional home base for our guests , in the rural village of Lancefield. They see some real Australia , and can walk/ cycle around with some independance. Yet the accomodation is fabulous , and features like WIFI and ability to work are easy ,...

Shelly, Luke and the team made our winter Christmas weekend unforgettable. Well set up for groups of up to ten people ... we enjoyed all the luxuries of this period "retreat". Wonderful log fires, indoor sitting/ relaxing area, home baked bread and chocolate muffins and lots of helpful tips on the area.Hospitality second to none. With many wineries, weekend markets...

The interior of this beautiful old house is far more ornate than you expect when you see its simple Victorian weatherboard front. I had never before seen pressed metal walls as well as ceilings. Each bedroom is beautifully and luxuriously appointed. We were attending a family event in the town and so probably didnt make the most of the facilities...

We enjoyed out stay at this B&B. Shelly was a friendly host, the bed very comfortable and we had an enjoyable breakfast. For the price however I think the room, which was the most expensive option, was on the small side and check in at 4pm late. The spa could not be used as there was not enough hot water....

Such a wonderful place situated in a lovely and peaceful town. We were greeted by the owners immidiatly with a warm smile and a want to help. Once settled in, we were given a tour and we were told to act as though this was just our own house. Our 3 year old was kept entertained with her new little...

We staying for the weekend and we're delighted with the accommodation facilities and our host Shelley. The rooms are nicely appointed even down to the homemade soap. Guest facilities were great with wood burner and comfortable lounge chairs and an impressive Bose sound system. Breakfast was an unexpected highlight with homemade everything , well maybe not the milk but the...

We had the privelege of spending several days at the Farmers Arm with our lovely hosts. The Inn itself is beautiful, the rooms, beds, linens are luxurious, the breakfast leisurely and freshly prepared. I also had the opportunity to experience the most relaxing massage of my life in the day spa.

I stayed here with my boyfriend for one night. The property is stunning - beautifully restored, welcoming and comfortable. Di was the perfect host - very friendly, made us delicious meals and recommended places for us to visit. We also loved her pets - attention-seeking Isabella (dog) and a cat (can't remember her name but she was very beautiful). We...

After hours and hours of trying to (last minute) find a place to stay on the long weekend that would allow us to bring our dog (feeling guilty we are leaving her at Easter!), I got a call from the Farmers Arms in Lancefield. They dont allow all dogs, but we chatted for a while and they decided it was...
