Detailed Reviews
Stayed in Healesville at the Tuck Inn for two nights. Room was large and airy, with a kitchenette. Plunger coffee supplied as well as various teas, milk etc. Toaster and microwave if you feel inclined to cook a light breakfast or snack.
Lux large shower and spacious bathroom. TV channels plus Netflix, Prime etc if you want some down time. Spotlessly clean and everything we could need. Secure entry foyer door. Parking next door so not far to carry luggage etc. Bed was a bit firm for me, but partner thought it was perfect. Heating was turned on before we arrived, so the room was warm and cosy by the time we checked in. Check ins by owner Donia, to make sure everything was perfect. Area was quiet and no residual noise from main road. Less than a minute stroll to the Healesville main street which has lots of great places to shop - Kitchen & Butcher Fromagerie is not to be missed!. Country Smart for lots of traditional men's clothing but also hipster trendy massive range of Jimmy Fox designer shirts. The Healesville Hotel beer/wine garden was excellent, easy drinks and food in a garden setting. Great vibe. Would highly recommend the Wine Merchant, very knowledgeable about local wines and made great recommendations and helped us decide on the wineries we would visit. Easy to walk to Sister Mary Louise's for breakfast (or brunch!!) is not to be missed, inside or outside. Great menu, quality food and terrific service. Would strongly recommend The asparagus and prosciutto, with a poached egg on sourdough with artichoke chips. No.7 for an evening meal, set menu of 3 courses which are Mexican inspired, perfect sizing and flavouring. Service was impeccable and ambience lovely. Large, spacious and airy industrial warehouse style with chandeliers and candelabra. It was a cold night, but inside warm. Outside in summer would be a must to try. Definitely worth a visit. Four Pillars Distillery was also an experience not to be missed. Excellent service and good experience. All places a gentle stroll. Great place for a weekend or midweek stay and the Tuck Inn is central to it all.

Having previously stayed at The Old Mechanics (next door), we thought we would take a punt on Tuck Inn. We stayed in the upstairs apartment which was just glorious with a roof top terrace amongst the tree canopy from the street, with a view out to the Yarra Valley hills. The location is quiet, and the decor tastefully done, and all the amenities that you need. Definitely a "go to" for us.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Amazing room, beautifully furnished, tidy and very clean. We stayed in 'The Perfect ashlars' room which had a king-size bed, it was the comfiest bed we had ever slept on. The room comes with an iron and board which was great to fix any clothes creased from packing. The location is on a quiet street around the corner from the strip of shops. It's also walking distance from the Innocent Bystander winery and Four Pillars distillery, you can have a few drinks without worrying about travel. Only guests have access to the buildings front door with their room key which was great security. There is guest parking available next to the Inn as well.
Thanks for a fantastic stay!

A beautiful space in the heart of Healesville. Our apartment was spacious, clean and very comfortable, with great amenities. If you are after a central location within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants in Healesville, it does not get better than this. Donia was a lovely host to deal with and her communication throughout the booking process and stay was excellent. This is such a serene part of the world and Tuck Inn is the perfect launching place to take it all in. We look forward to returning.

Fabulous place to stay walking distance to Healesville restaurants and shops. Our room was great, well set up with a kitchenette. Coffee and tea provided. Very clean, very quiet and just perfect for our two night getaway. The hosts were friendly and also very helpful and genuinely interested in making sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Quaint, stylish little hotel just off the main strip of Healesville. It's a brilliant location, but if you're a light sleeper, try not to book the 'Under Oaks' room. We were awoken by footsteps from an upstairs room, and again at 5.30am by a garbage truck emptying bins right outside our window.

Thanks for the feedback, and so glad you enjoyed your stay and the great location. We do always ask all guests to be respectful of others staying at the property but sometimes people forget, so I'm sorry this impacted your stay. As for the garbage truck - not really anything I can do about that I'm afraid. Regards Ozzie

Excellent arrangements. Clean and pretty spacious. Under Oaks - sitting room/kitchen. Bedroom and separate WC/shower room. Modern fitments. Good value. 2 mins walk to shops and ALDI. Bus to Lilydale -about 1/2 hour. Then can train it from there to Melbourne ( 1 hour) . Good communication from hosts.

We stayed in this beautiful place it is spotlessly clean. With modern rooms the most comfortable bed awesome stepless shower and plunger coffee. It is a minute to the main street. But is tucked away in a quiet street. We will stay again in the future

Tuck Inn is close to the main street and is in a great location. The accommodation is excellent for 2 Adults and had everything that we required. We would stay there when next we visited Healesville.
The only "negatives" that I can point out is that Church St is very steep (for a Senior) and anyone with mobility issues may have to think about the suitability of this place. A bit of street noise too.

Wonderful comfortable Apartment. Stayed for a long weekend, could not have had a more relaxing and comfortable stay. I would highly recommend as a base for any stay in the Yarra Valley. Close to all amenities and in the heart of Healesville.
