My wife and 2 young children stayed in the Toolebewong Cottage for 2 nights. We were attracted to the cottage by finding it through Wotif.com while searching 'Kids Club' and 'Farm Stay'. Turns out it was neither. More later... Location The location is great being 3 mins drive from the Sanctuary and Maze and only 5mins from Healesville town centre....

Attractive 1908 historic house; stayed in upper level suite. Quiet location; nice view from room. Felt let down by details. At night, strong light shines from house through glass window in door; curtain over window required. Bathroom: hole in wall, tiles missing from base of shower; toilet set wouldn't stay up; cosmetics/shaving light above basin not working. Cobwebs on bathroom...

Even though it did not review very well we decided to give it a go and make our own minds up.It was on a wotif special so $198 for two nights sounded reasonable.Sure there were a few minor negatives but overall we enjoyed our stay. THUMBS UP-great setting ,cosy, liked the rambling garden, great view from lounge, wood fire as well as...

Stayed in the Tuscan Cottage I have listed below in point form what the negatives were; 1) No lighting from the street, they have a dodgy spotlight rigged on a tripod that was not even turned on....so when you arrive at night?? 2) The garden is unkempt and totally overgrown.....Get a gardener! 3) The poor goat in that mud bath...

I recently stayed here a couple of nights and have been thinking a lot about what sort of review to give this place. In some ways this was a very nice place to stay, and others it was a bit ho hum. Good points: - Service was very, very good. They were welcoming, friendly and polite all the time -...

We stayed in the Rose Cottage for a friend's wedding late March, and could not have been happier. Check in was simple, pick up the keys from the shop in town. Staff were extremely friendly. Got to the cottage to discover that they had incense burning and had really done the place up for us. The cottage was really well...

We booked the Yarra suite, the lower level of the old homestead, set in the garden, and with private entrance. It was calm, quiet, and better than other reviews had indicated. We were greeted, and taken down to the suite, and when we entered the heating was on, candle burning, and quiet calm music playing. It is so much better...

We stayed in the Tuscan cottage. The accommodation was OK, it was clean and they left us a complimentary bottle of sparkling malbec and chocolates for our honeymoon. It was a little run down and did lack some attention to detail. The gardens were un kept, the door leading outside to a seating area was broken and stick taped shut....
