Great Room, cosy, comfortable and characteristic. Helpful friendly staff. Very nice food and a fantastic selection of local wines and beers, all for and a great price. Highly recommended. Bring good earplugs as you will be woken up early in morning, midweek, if you get a main road room. That's why I gave it 4 stars. Would stay there again....

The ambience is great but that's where the good experience stops. Out of the 5 dishes ordered there was only 1 that was good. We ordered the pork belly, beef steak, scallops, pork sausages and the grilled chicken. The chicken was the one that was good. They take chargrilled as burned bitter. Disappointing to say the least. Do not recommend...

Such a lovely room. Tall ceilings. Separate bathroom facilities to share with other guests - though still very private. Hand made soaps. Coffee and tea making facilities available in room. A very comfortable sleep - king size bed. There is bit of noise from the street, but they do give you ear plugs. Food at the hotel is great, we...

Staying with family in Melbourne and they took us to the Healesville Sanctuary in the morning and then on to lunch at the Healesville Hotel. It was lovely on every level: venue, room, service, beverages and last (but definitely not least) the food!

We enjoyed our recent stay in this recently renovated country pub. The rooms are good, the shared bathrooms are fine and the flowers decorating the hotel added to a homely, sophisticated atmosphere. Food as usual great. Just a pity about the bar, if you are not a wine drinker, you will be shocked at how understocked this pub bar is....

Rooms are huge with king beds. The hotel is in the center of tiny Healesville, the main eating/sleeping area of the Yarra Valley. Crispin, the general manager of the hotel and restaurant, is extraordinarily friendly, helpful and knowledgable. The entire staff made us feel like part of the family. Food in the Quince dining room was excellent, and there is...

We spend 2 nights at the Healesvile Hotel apartment/rental house at the rear of the hotel. There are 3 options, either a studio, a one bedroom house or a combination of the both being a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom house. Even though the studio is really nicely done with a new fit-out, king bed and courtyard, it was a little...

Tried the Healesville Hotel for lunch in their restaurant, must say very impressed, great food and atmosphere, prompt and courteous service and a great variety of local food and beverages to choose from, would definitely come again. Nice light alternative next door at their Harvest cafe, nice treats :)

Staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant and bar is nice with local produce, wine and beer. Hotel rooms, while clean, are old and dated. My room and the corridor smelt of cooking aromas for the 2 night stay. I suspect this was the slow cooked lamb shoulder on the menu from the kitchen below. Be prepared for a shared...

We have been coming here for 3 years now and the food and staff are 6 stars. We eat out 3 days a week which includes fine dining (if you can call it that) and when considering your budget vs expectations. .. you have a clear expectation champion in Healesville Hotel. From the beautiful relaxed atmosphere...food amazing....wine and beer list...
