Busy and popular for brunch. Mostly outdoor dining with the need to order inside at the counter. The new Autumn menu sounded good. A small problem in that a menu item order turned out not to be available- not known until after ordering- which given that you pay when you order turns into a bit of a drama. Still the...

Stayed in the cottages in the street behind the hotel in September 2016.Were attracted by the blurb offering lovely interiors with T2 teas giving the impression of cosy casual comfort. This place was anything but.A tired little one bedroom cottage surrounded by an unkempt garden boasting dirty old plastic furniture.A couple of T2 t bags and towels that had seen better...

On a lovely Autumn afternoon we called in to have a drink and a light meal. The beer garden was really nice and relaxing. Our meal a chicken Parma was delicious followed by a mocha coffee! Will be back!!

My husband, myself, and our 8 mth baby stayed overnight at the Healesville Hotel recently. We randomly found ourselves in Healesville during a mini road trip. I was initially put off by the shared bathrooms and old building... Im so glad we took the chance and stayed, It really was a wonderful experience! The rooms (and whole property, in general)...

We really enjoyed our two night getaway here! We were in a spacious, light filled room with a huge bed and air-conditioning! Usually I don't use air con but it was about 38 degrees and we had been driving and walking around a fair bit. It was so lovely to come into a cool room and just relax! I love...

The Healesville Hotel is a lovely choice for a micro holiday being well placed to explore the Yarra Valley, including the Healesville Sanctuary and Four Pillars Gin. The hotel is a beautiful Edwardian building with pressed metal ceilings and artworks, vases of flowers, good carpet and furnishings, and large and comfortable beds. The service is excellent and the restaurant was...

We were pleasantly surprised to find this well regarded that the bar shared its kitchen with the more refined 1 Hat Good Food Guide Hotel restaurant and offered very affordable and high quality specials for its bar patron. The bar staff were welcoming and there is a pleasant outside area for warm evenings.

You need to remember your bathrobe for trotting down the hall to the bathroom. The rooms are old style high ceilings, lots of light comfy beds. The quality of the toiletries is high. I liked the little touches of ear plugs if it got too noisy outside. Staff are friendly and helpful.
