Stayed here before and loved it. Recently with family for a few days and they loved it too. Owners Barry and Mimee (not sure how to spell that!) are relaxed and friendly. Short walk to restaurants, super market and shops. For those who love walking there are a few close by. Plenty of places to visit including water falls, walks...

We wanted to see the sunset and a sunrise in halls Gap and wanted a good place to wake up for breakfast. This place ticked those boxes. Nestled behind the little wooden board walk of shops and cafes we woke up to a beautiful sunrise, made coffee in our lodge and then went for breakfast before our day of hiking....

There may be better accommodation in this town but there is none with a better location...central immediately behind the main street on a little river bend. The room was dated but huge and comfy. We used the pool which was unheated but a welcome relief from the heat of the day. Cafes and food outlets very handy, cockatoos and kookaburra...

This was the only place I have left one night into a three day visit. They are VERY uncycling friendly. They were so bad I actually complained about them to Tourism Victoria in their region. The old management were okay. ..we had stayed six times prior. .but these people have ensured I shall never return to this place.

Unfortunately we had only budgeted one night to stay in this lovely place before heading home. Next time we will definitely stay longer. The room was large, clean and very reasonably priced, the lady at reception could not have been more helpful, pointing us to a wonderful restaurant for dinner and answering all our questions. Shops were very close, wildlife...

£55 a night for a well appointed and clean motel style room in this scenic and beautiful location is a good deal and worth an excellent rating. However the couple running the place were less than welcoming and this together with the petty rules that they relayed to us on arrival has resulted in only "very good rating". Do guests...

This motel was wonderful. Large, spacious rooms fully equipped with a pentry. It was probably the most central location in Halls Gap. Really close to the few cafes and restaurants that exist in the village. We felt very welcomed and loved the two nights we spent here. There were kangaroos jumping around all over Halls Gap, also in the motel...

From the time we walked into reception and were shown the type of rooms that were available. The grounds, BBQ's, children's play area were well maintained, even the self contained Deluxe Spa room that we had was in pristine condition. The grounds were a feeding area for Roos and birds of all types. I would highly recommend this establishment for...

The location in town is excellent. The definition of self contained should be redefined. We've stayed at other self contained places in rural Victoria and this place isn't self contained, but semi self contained. It doesn't have a full kitchen and is without a stove/oven. The setting is dated (80s?), but clean and tidy. There is real potential renovation just...
