The wine tasting & lunch was a very pleasant way to spend Saturday afternoon. Friendly staff, great food & excellent wine. We decided to stay the night in an Eco cottage. The cottage was clean, very comfortable & the added touch of music playing on arrival was welcoming. I was glad that I had done research & packed a light dinner as the...

Thank you for your kind words. It is lovely and cosy in the cottages during the winter months. Gisborne town is a 7 minute drive from the cottages, but we understand after an afternoon of tasting wine you may not feel up to driving through the dark into Gisborne. We look forward to seeing you again in the warmer months!...

The eco-cottage was very comfy, with everything we needed. Provisions were provided for cooking our own breakfast, including a lovely sourdough loaf. The view from our cottage Bidgee Widgee (:)) was lovely, looking out towards a field of riesling. The owners and staff members were really friendly and welcoming. The complimentary bottle of wine was a lovely touch. We chose...

We enjoyed an overnight stay here as well as a formal wine tasting with lunch to celebrate my birthday. The wine tasting and lunch was lovely - pizzas were really good and we tasted wines we probably wouldn't have tried elsewhere. Had an amazing salted caramel baked cheese cake for dessert which was divine....we noticed a Pecan Pie special for...

We stayed for one night, the owners have added simple touches that make the difference; we appreciated the sourdough loaf for breakfast, the music playing in the room on arrival, the nice selection of dvds and the ceiling fan! After reading one of the other reviews I might add we were driving an old landrover and it fit any corner...

We booked a night at the eco cottages after using a red balloon voucher for lunch at Gisborne Peak Winery and loved it. Barbara was very welcoming and provided a yummy breakfast for us. The cottage was very comfortable and the bed was absolutely amazing and we had the best nights sleep. Would highly recommend.

We booked a cottage after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor but, were disappointed with our stay there. Check in was easy and welcoming at the café but, the track up to the cottages is difficult to manoeuver in a large car and even more so at night .The area around the cottage was in need of some TLC – dead,...

Hello Roadnorth, I'm so sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your stay at our eco-cottages. The cottages are located overlooking the vineyard so there is a hill involved in order to reach the cottages. Our old cleaning van can make it OK, so I'm surprised to hear that your car had trouble. This drive is getting paved shortly...

Ideal for 1 hour travel from home. We get there and the service is "excellent" Froni looked after us on the Wine Tasting and the beautiful lunch. As we decided to stay there in their Cottages they were excellent had everything you could possibly want (I mistook the Fridge for a Dishwasher lol) to much perfect tasting wine. The cottages...

We felt very much at home as soon as we walked into our Eco Cottage at Gisborne Peak Winery. Lovely decor and everything you could wish for at your fingertips. Breakfast was included and nothing was left out for continental or fully cooked (that you prepare yourself). We were high on a hill overlooking the vineyards which were being hand...

We stayed 3 nights over the Easter weekend. We checked in on Easter Friday with directions on a self check in as this was the only day the winery was closed. Check in was nice and easy and instructions easy for us to navigate our way through. We were welcomed by a beautiful cottage, lovely playing music as we entered...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Gisborne Peak Winery Eco-Cottages (Macedon Ranges) is a place where relaxation, luxury, sustainability and fine wine all come together. Each of the 4 eco-cottages are self-contained and sleep two people. They are nestled into the hillside overlooking the vines and the lake. Perfect for relaxing, reading, talking or just watching the grapes grow! You can always have a tasting of the estate grown wines at the cellar door and even help out in the vineyard with seasonal activities if you want. On Friday through Sundays the wood-fired oven cooks delicious pizzas, prawns and more to match with the Gisborne Peak wine range. One of the advantages of the Gisborne South location is the close proximity to Melbourne and the airport. No need to waste time getting here – spend that time instead settling in and enjoying the sights, sounds and tastes of the Macedon Ranges. What you get in the Macedon Ranges is honesty and authentic passion. What you get at Gisborne Peak Winery Eco-Cottages is all of that plus comfort, food & wine and relaxation. Why wait?
