We stayed 3 nights and we really enjoyed our time at Gorge Walk. Gary and Jill were wonderful hosts and made us feel very much at home. We booked two rooms and found both of them to be very comfortable. Each room has its own ensuite. The breakfast/lounge area was well appointed and Gary ensured that the wood heater kept...

Our expectations of this venue were high, located near to main street, photos offered well appointed large sized rooms, off street parking and pleasant garden setting. Reality was something different. Our bed was like a table top and consisted of two singles pushed together, complete with lumps and ridge in the centre, we only survived the night by placing the...

The photos of this B and B make it seem like a heritage house. It is not. It is tidy but not special. No cooked breakfast. A disappointment and given all the accommodations have stayed in recently through WA, Qld, NSW and Vict., this was the least value for money. Yes, hosts polite etc. but not overly helpful when advice...

We enjoyed our stay at this B & B. We were expecting a heritage feeling (given Beechworth) but it turned out to be not. The room was clean and spacious. The continental breakfast was just right, and the homemade jam was delicious. The place is filled with very nice craft works made by the host. Very talented. A short walk...

The location of this beautiful B & B was terrific, we could go out and walk back, it was very central. Our rooms were lovely and comfortable and very spacious, we had a lovely breakfast by the fire with a beautiful outlook to the garden which was in full bloom.

Firstly we arrived at 2 pm and there was no one to check us in, apparently the door was open, but I was unaware of this. Being a b&b and someone's home I wouldn't have just gone in had I found the door open. The rooms were beautifully furnished but I found it a shame that fake flowers were used...

We had high expectations for the Gorge Walk B&B and in many ways our stay was fine. The owners were helpful and nice and our room was comfortable. The continental breakfasts were OK without being as nice as other places we stayed at during our trip. We were disappointed with the location, we thought it was closer to the main...

I would recommend...

The best place to stay in Beechworth. The owners are very friendly people. They gave me good tips for my trip. The rooms are furnished in different styles with a lot of creativity. The place is just 5 min from the towncentre.

Recent stay at this B&B at Beechworth. We stayed in the lilac room as wished a queen bed as opposed to 2 singles joined together. The room was reasonable bit cluttered, smaller than the others. Nothing really special, just felt like we were staying in someones spare room. The bed I found very uncomfortable, we were told not to use...
