We stayed one evening on a drive from SC to TN. This is a wonderful, well appointed facility. #8 was a comfortable sleep. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was awesome. All the amenities for a pleasant stay were present. We can't wait to plan a return visit.

Despite being a Sewanee alum, this was our first stay at the Monteagle Inn. We couldn't have had a better experience. The staff was friendly & welcoming. The rooms were well-equipped, efficient, & clean (great linens). The common areas were warm & well decorated with comfy furniture, big-screen tvs, & a fireplace. The breakfast each morning was fantastic - both...

The Monteagle Inn is a nice, charming property located in the heart of the South Cumberland recreation area. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is included and was excellent both days during our visit. We stayed in a room with king size bed and found the room and bathroom adequate if a little tight on storage for clothing and...

Thank you for your visit to our Inn and taking the time to review your stay. This is a fabulous time of year on the Southern Plateau with the leaves changing color, waterfalls are flowing beautifully and the weather is amazing. We look forward to your next visit with us.

My wife and I spent two nights at Monteagle Inn & Retreat and really enjoyed our stay. A very nice place, clean and inviting, made us feel like home. Our room was nice (two balconies) and comfortable. It was nice to have two Keurig coffeemakers within walking distance from our room for morning coffee when we wanted it. Lots of...

Thank you for taking the time to review our Inn. We are so happy you enjoyed our property with the hammocks and the front porch is one of our guest favorite spots. Jumpoff is one of our most popular rooms with the double balconies overlooking our luscious courtyard. Our Mountain Gourmet Breakfast is also a favorite among the locals in...

My husband and I wanted to take a mini vacation away and decided on visiting Monteagle and the surrounding area. The beauty of the South Cumberland State Park region with the Stone Door, Greeter Falls and Buggy Top are not to be missed. Being able to stay at the Monteagle Inn was the icing on the cake! The gourmet breakfasts...

Working with Monteagle Inn and Retreat Center was an extremely unpleasant and unprofessional experience for us. Do not go here if you would like to deal with friendly, honest and professional people. You will be sorely disappointed. We worked with them to host a company retreat at their facilities. The facility was beautiful, and the initial impressions we got of...

Our trip to the Monteagle Inn was a spur of the moment trip. We have stayed in Monteagle before but never here. Our stay was great. The reception was warm and there was only one other couple there so we basically had the house to ourselves. We walked across to the Sunday School Assembly for a nice stroll. Our room...

From the time we walked in the front door to the time we left, we were treated with the best that Southern hospitality has to offer. Thank you for your stay with us and the nice review! It is a great getaway even at 90 degrees. Great place, great stay, great staff. I always stay here when the occasion arises. I could only manage one night this time, but Bill and his staff accommodated us as if we stayed a week. No other place like it anywhere around.
