I have stayed here more than a dozen times over the years, but never will again. This hotel has never been to a high standard of cleanliness (ok, but not great) but during my last stay there was rubbish underneath the sofa (had to pull out to access a powerpoint), mould in the shower and curtain, cutlery had not been washed, glassware looked like it had been wiped with a cleaning cloth and there was something spilled in the fridge. The room I was in had a desk chair that was broken but since I arrived at about 6pm and was leaving at around 6am, I didn't bother to do anything about the chair - really I didn't even think about it. I was charged (a few days later) $50 for the broken chair - not happy, I called and demanded a refund - I was told I would be called back, I wasn't. I called back the next day and was told that paperwork would be sent to accounts to have the money returned (so admission of incorrect charge) and that it would take 7 days. There has been no refund, hence this review. I have also needed to contact NSW Dept of Health due to a COVID breach when I checked in. The reception door was locked and when opened the person did not have a mask on and when questioned, they hurried behind the counter behind perspex - the risk of infection at this hotel is very high. Just stay somewhere else.

We booked an Executive 2 Bedroom Apartment through Booking.com only to receive a Standard Apartment which at the time was $50/night less. Upon mentioning this, we were told there was nothing front desk could do and we had to email management. I emailed twice before contacting Booking.com and only then did I receive a response which has so far, been unacceptable. On top of this, the room we did receive had windows in bedrooms without curtains and the light shone in all night. Upstairs had no air conditioning making for a very chilly June long weekend. Not enough towels were supplied, the wifi didn't work and there were opened half-drunk drinks left in the fridge. Unacceptable particularly in light of the current Covid situation. Management have been less than satisfactory in following up our complaints and we will be taking the matter further. Do not stay here. It is an absolute disgrace and a complete rip off!

We requested one of the renovated rooms at time of booking for the June long weekend. This request was ignored. On day of arrival (Friday) we were called to ask expected checkin time time told that our request hadn't been processed but they would see what they could do. At checkin I was made to feel as though I had put out every other guest as I was told many people had to be moved to accommodate my request. The room was filthy, unvacuumed with dead cockroaches on floor and with many broken items including noisy fan (only 1 speed worked), broken window lever, broken tc and a dryer that had fallen off the wall and was left on bathroom floor leaving little space to use the toilet without being cramped. They falsely advertise that each 1 bedroom apartment comes with more furniture than ours had and a balcony or courtyard. The front reception advertise availability til 11pm yet noone answered the landline or mobile number posted when we tried to report these issues hours prior to 11pm. We were forced to stay the night. Upon checking out, we were told we weren't able to get a refund as the hotel doesn't have the authority and I would need to email my request to the hotel who would pass this on to the reservation manager. To date, I have not received my security deposit, parking or accommodation refund as requested. Further to this, they attempted to fraudulently create and charge me for a new booking from the Saturday 12th to Monday 14th June for a 3 bedroom apartment that I did not request. Horrible experience and will be taking legal action. Stay here at your own risk.

I had the most horrible experience here, TWICE. Staff had me waiting at the gate for 20 minutes to get let in. I called reception 3 times as people were lining up behind me and becoming annoyed, I was told someone would come “soon”. The people behind me ended up letting me in with their pass as it was becoming ridiculous. I had a very similar check in experience last time I stayed 2 years ago, I don’t know why I came back. When I entered, staff were so rude and condescending. I was just after my keys but staff messed up my booking and then told me false information regarding my booking. I ended up cancelling my booking on the spot as I couldn’t let this place take my money after speaking to my husband AND children so horribly. Very unprofessional. They need to fix their check in process. Learn from my mistake and do not go here.

Called to ask for a earlier check in and the immediate response was 'that will be $30 extra' not even a we can accomodate to that as we have ample room. Go my girlfriend to call up and they did so and didn't charge. "Thanks Chis the guy who was on reception. From reading all the reviews the guys are looking to make $ out of anything extra and have forgotten about what hospitality is all about. Very low costings to get you in the door and then penalise you for so many things like early check in, parking, changing rooms, poor room quality ... this will teach them to charge an extra $30 by costing them 30 customers who read this review
