Great little hotel, reception staff were wonderful, very welcoming, nothing too much trouble.
The rooms were very spacious and well appointed. The cleaners had done an exceptional job. The bed was fantastic, very comfy.
The location of this hotel is so convenient, not far from St Leonards Rail Station (approx 10 mins walk) but also a bus stop almost opposite that you can get to either Manly or City .
Cant wait to go back there.

I stayed while supporting a family member in a nearby hospital. My room was clean, well appointed and comfortable. I greatly appreciated the complimentary shuttle service provided in the mornings. I was overwhelmed by the care of staff who looked out for me, aware of why i was there: some places talk about caring, Urban St Leonards really does.

The hotel is located just off Pacific Highway going through St Leonard’s. It looks newly refurbished and the room and bathroom were good and the bed comfortable. There is good onsite parking at a very reasonable price. I did not eat there but you can get meals and I saw a few guests having dinner and breakfast. The only real downside is you are a 15 minute walk to St Leonard’s or 20 minutes to Crows Nest if you are looking for a meal or train. There is a bus stop close by. However, the trains are frequent and you can be in city centre or Chatswood within a few minutes.

Perched over the Pacific highway this is noisy. Parking costs $20- and tiny spaces, some describe as good ? Obviously not likely to have stayed there. Lighting awful, dark due to no ceiling lights and side lamps of low grade. Shower ? Well nozzle pointed into middle of bathroom so they just turned off the pressure .... so forget it.

I stayed one night and it was very clean and comfortable. It was a little noisy as my room faced the Pacific Highway but it also had the sunrise which was worth it. Staff very polite-except as I was waiting to book in, the fellow on the desk was on a lengthy phone call. I decided to go sit by the reception, in sight of the reception as he'd seen me enter, to wait my turn. When he finished on the phone a man had come in also to check in. Instead of attending to me, he immediately helped the man who was right at the desk and making it obvious he was *next*- he wasn't. Are polite women invisible? Please attend to the people in front of you, not the phone. You could stop the phone call, say 'I will be with you shortly' to either the phone or the physical person, then everyone's happy. Customer SERVICE.

The Urban had all the necessary amenities in the room and bathroom. Very clean and tidy. Couldn’t fault the rooms. It also had a safe and a fridge.
The breakfast was quite pricey though for what you get but it was nice.
Public transport is close and there is a pub about 800 meters away and some small shops/cafes.

Have to admit, this all came as a total surprise, in a very good way. The staff were all excellent from the moment you walked in the door, to leaving 7 days later. The room was very relaxing, open, fresh and even had a balcony. The bathroom and all the amenities were also very good. Housekeeping was a little hit & miss, all depending on who did the job. Most importantly, the Room Rate was also very reasonable. They have a restaurant on the ground floor. The food, services and prices were all very good. Would most definitely stay here again.

I have stayed here a couple of years ago. Just had 3 nights there. Good reception. Foyer in good order. I had a balcony room at ear, so quiet. Decent enough, good bed and chair. Bit of a view. Good little fridge and good tv, nothing to complain about except noisy a/c.

I had a couple of meals in cafe, a steak one night and big breakfast, all good, big servings, reasonable value, chef and waitstaff good. Parking is $20, small spaces. Overall a 8/10 from me. I would return. Recommended.

Stayed for 3 weeks during my wife being hospitalised at RNS. Personalised and caring staff. Really support you. Excellent room service, meals and amenities. Any issues you have are promptly taken care of. Even delivered some to the laundry I forgot while checking out to a completely different part of Sydney, free of charge. No words.

Great renovated hotel, spotlessly clean, good sized room. Only complaint were the pillows, all the same and a bit thick and hard for me, a variety would have been better. Also ask for a room on the back side off the highway. I booked and arrived late so had a front room. Yes it was a bit noisy but so tired I slept regardless. Cafe downstairs had an excellent breakfast.
Very close to St Leonards train station if needed.

Dear sallybl873UG, Thank you for your valuable feedback on your recent stay at our renovated hotel. I am glad that you found the hotel clean and the rooms spacious. I apologize for the inconvenience with the pillows and your suggestions have been noted for improvements. With regards to our room type, we have Urban Balcony Room which I highly recommend should you want to have rooms at the back side of the hotel. Our guests can book this room type directly from any of the channel we advertised with. We're glad you managed to rest well and enjoyed the breakfast at our cafe. We appreciate your recommendation regarding the St Leonards train station. We look forward to serving you again. Best regards, Johan T Operations Manager

Hi, I agree with James D and Stormypet's respond. Thank you. Yes it depends on the booking type. Some special rates includes Free parking. The best way to get a good deal is book directly from the hotelurban website. (Parking is $10 per day)

Billy L- I cannot see any relevance from your statement to my stay at Urban. I was most impressed with everything they did. Our room was immaculately presented and impeccably clean. We are back in Sydney to stay on December 11 -but I am a pensioner and cannot afford to stay there at the moment and have reluctantly had to book cheaper accommodation much further away from our re-union. Given a choice of accommodation we would stay at the Urban on every occasion.

We did not have those facilities in our room. Best you ask the hotel if other room types have it.
