Family owned, clean, great location right on the beautiful sandy beach in the central, easy to get around in Gyuayabitos. Many good local restaurants, very popular Mexican family resort; neat to get the feel of real Mexico, not the hustle and bustle tourist destinations.... a perfect off the beaten track spot

We arranged our trip 7 months in advance and arranged the hotel through Travelocity. Upon arrival, they had no reservation information for us and asked to make a copy of my paperwork. We were fortunate that they had a room available but it took 1 1/2 hours to get into the room.....which made us late for dinner with friends. No... More

We have been here for three weeks now and the hotel is fantastic. If you are looking for a true Mexican hotel this is it. I stayed in Villa Buean Vida, small patio and plunge pool overlooking the ocean and surf break. Native aretb work and kitchen. The staff was friendly and helpful in every respect. I also got to watch a wedding on the premisies. Great place for any and all, mix of lovers, surfers, yoga types and tourists.

We've stayed here several times in November, when its very warm and January when it's warm. There used to be a private airstrip, El Llano, right north of there, which was very convenient, but this November it was closed. We had to park the plane at MMPR and get an 1100p taxi from the airport. We found out later that... More

I have been more than twice to Rincón de Guayabitos, and stayed every time at Villas Buena Vida. The price is quite affordable, I love to have a kitchen so I can fix my own food instead of pricey restaurants. It's certainly not luxury, the rooms are small, most don't have a good ocean view, and the pools are small... More

I visited Villas Buena Vida. The management served up a great Thanksgiving dinner to guests, the quarters were good. The hotel is right on a beautiful beach. I give it a strong thumbs up.

Stayed at the Villas Buena Vida and was very disappointed given the price per night. The room did not have a view of the ocean and the terrace looked at the rooms across the parking lot. The price of that room was $123. I was told it was the only room available. The restaurant food was terrible. We had been... More

“Ask for plunge pool and how many stairs up as it is on a hill rising from the ocean. All are breeezy, ocean view and all airconditioned. For your figure and fitness ask for higher villas, more stairs, better ocean view.”
