Reviews summary
This summary was created by AI, based on recent reviews.
Powered by AI
The Premier Inn Bridgend (M4, J35) Hotel is acknowledged for its clean and tranquil atmosphere, though the charm is slightly marred by outdated rooms and unexpectedly small beds for some guests. Cleanliness is one of the hotel's strong suits, with numerous guests praising the spotless conditions. While rooms are generally seen as comfortable and noise-free, the lack of modern decor and air conditioning has been noted.
The hotel's value receives mixed reviews, balancing pricey meals against cost-effective stay options. Service is predominantly seen as friendly and helpful, with a few reports of inconsistency. Amenities earn positive remarks, especially the dining experience and the diligent staff, but the lack of facilities like EV charging stations has been highlighted.

Comfortable spacious rooms. Housekeeping does a great job keeping the rooms spick and span - no complaints there!
Counter staff friendly and obliging, and happily provide help where needed e.g. arranging for taxis (very important!).
Although next to the motorway, the soundproofing is excellent.
Enjoyed my brief stay there.

Excellent stay excellent sevice. Couldnt fault anything. Staff went out of their way to help. It was out anniversary and the cleaning staff placed the towels ornately on the bed like swans it was lovely to see with our cards next to them.

No issues with this Premier Inn.. and good value for money! We booked Premier Inn for a more affordable option and it was a great choice. Rooms have been refurbished, and so felt much cleaner than other Premier Inns we have stayed at. Very conveniently seconds from the M4 too.

This Premier Inn was of the usual high standard expected, and they had put very good safety measures in place after the lockdown. The room was comfy, breakfast was good, with a good restaurant/pub within yards, and above all the staff were all very helpful and friendly in these trying times. In particular the lady receptionist who was very concerned when on the day of departure I had a flat tyre in the car park. I would like to reassure her that it was all sorted - it was not vandalism but I had driven over a large nail somewhere on the road (nothing to do with Premier Inn) - I didn't have time to let her know.

I had to travel to the area and needed a room for a family so booked here about 6 weeks before I needed to travel.we arrived about 4pm and we were checked in very efficiently and given our door card.Nothing was too much trouble the room was spotlessly clean and you could tell it had been cleaned well as we could smell the air bomb they use to sanitise after the previous guests. All Covid secure all names were taken incase of a positive Case being active during our visit.
The bed was amazing had the best nights sleep for awhile too.We also booked a table for breakthrough next day which again was great.will definitely book to stay here again, even though it’s basically next to the M4 it was so peaceful and quite.

I have been in better appointed, newer, Premier Inns but this one is fine. Our room was spotlessly clean and tidy, quiet and calm. One tiny, unimportant, complaint concerns the bathroom sink. It is too shallow for the force of water that come out of the tap. The result is an unexpected soaking! Learned to turn the tap on VERY carefully! The thing that elevated this Premier Inn above some others in my experience (and none so far have been bad) were the superb staff. One member in particular was one of the best reception clerks I have ever encountered. We were in the area for a funeral of a close family member. She greeted and treated us with great kindness and sensitivity and did everything she could to ease our stay.

The hotel was easy to find (unlike others in the party) but I did look at the map before setting off.
Very pleasent receptionist who was very helpful.
The breakfast we good but a little overpriced, especially when McDonalds at the end of the hotel drive ... do coffee and a bacon roll for well under a £5... something Premier Inns should look at

We came to stay for the weekend and like a Premier inn. The location was ideal to get to Cardiff on the train and to travel with the M4 right next door. However the hotel is very well soundproofed and you can't hear the motorway at all. The place seems very new as it's modern, very clean and everything is in great condition. There is even a usb port next to the bed which most hotels don't think about and that makes a huge difference. The hotel staff are super friendly and kind and the breakfast is very tasty and we will definitely be coming back.

This was my second time staying here with my husband. As always with premier Inn se found the room nice and comfortable. there is a restaurant next to the hotel with a lovely breakfast. The staff were very polite and helpful, getting us an iron and extra teabags etc. Very convenient location, just off the motorway. We will come again.

While I know premier Inn is a budget hotel to have to pay to get better Wi-Fi in this day and age is not acceptable. the pillows in the room were too soft for my liking but that's just me it maybe different for other people. The food in the restaurant is basic if you just want a quick bite to eat and for 8pm on a friday night they seem to be short staffed. Overall a basic hotel apart from the staff who were very friendly!!

Sorry I’m not sure when I worked at Premier inn they only used to let assistance dogs stay.If you can give them a call direct they would be able to help you.
we paid £19 ish for two of us at reception, and you can eat what you like, plus bottomless drinks. Pick an earlier time (before 9.30) to get your table and first choice before it becomes busier.in the restaurant
Yes there is a 24 hour reception and they are really nice
