We were not looking to have breakfast yet but when we passed Dyffryn, it looked so appealing, we turned around and went back. We were not disappointed.
Covid safeguards were all in place and well applied and the place was very clean.
Staff were friendly and very efficient and our breakfast was delicious. We are so glad we stopped.

Visiting this lovely cafe and restaurant was a lovely break from a hectic journey. The staff were extremely nice and very attentive. The food was excellent at very reasonable prices.
I and my family enjoyed it so much we would certainly stop off again.

We were travelling to Barmouth and wanted somewhere to stop on the way for breakfast as we'd left very early.

Dyffryn fitted the bill perfectly with a delicious breakfast, spotlessly clean surroundings and friendly staff. There was plenty of parking and notices on the road so we had ample time to stop. If we are in the area again (and I hope we are!), we'll certainly eat there again.

Nice place to eat outside or in; good food and unique local gifts available for souvenirs.
Good room, quiet and good breakfast to enjoy the next morning. The atmosphere is friendly and the host is helpful.

Stayed one night with my daughter during a walking holiday. Mandy dispatched her delightful husband (didn't get his name) to pick us up where the trail ended in Llangadfan. Very friendly cattle farmer raising specialty breeding stock who helps out Mandy in the restaurant during busy spells. Large, immaculate, white table cloth dining room that draws a lot of locals going out for a special meal. I rarely eat a steak, but totally enjoyed mine served with melted Stilton and port poured over--wow. We stayed in an upstairs twin room that was beautifully decorated, with a plush couch looking into a beautiful garden and across the road to pastures. Nice, frilly toiletries, and Mandy went the extra mile stuffing our soggy hiking boots with newspaper and getting them dry and warm for our hike out the next day.

We have a caravan nearby and we've often passed this restaurant on our way to the coast, we stopped for a breakfast this morning, it seems we've been missing this little jewel!! Friendly staff, a nice welcome, and a cracking breakfast! Hot too, nice selection of flavoured teas, we haven't tried the lunchtime menu but it looks great,

We chose this hotel as our centre while walking Glyndwr's Way and what an excellent choice we made. It is charming and Mandy and staff could not have been more accommodating. The rooms are clean and well maintained and the beds are very, very comfortable . Breakfasts are more than "hearty" and there's a good selection on the menu each evening - there was even cake and a cuppa provided for us on our return every afternoon- what a lovely touch that was. Packed lunches with a wide choice of fillings could be ordered for the morrow ( there were 10 of us so there was quite a variety of tastes to cater for) .There is also a very large car park. I can't praise this little gem highly enough.

Myself and my two Grandsons aged (6 and 7 years) visited Dyffryn for a breakfast during our journey home from a camping holiday in North Wales.
My grandsons had told me they were starving, more that once ! and to be honest I was pretty peckish as well !
What a pleasant, clean, welcoming restaurant this is....
As soon as we walked in we were greeted by friendly, smiling, happy staff, we picked our table, sat down and browsed the menu.
Logan picked the sausage sandwich whilst Caden went for the beans on toast, Grandad of course had the full English.
For drinks we had a cold drink, tea, and a cup of coffee, (followed by a mug of coffee).
Service was quick and the food was perfect, the boys wasted no time in cleaning there plates whilst I savoured every mouthful of the full English breakfast, toast, oh, and did I mention the coffee ?
The staff were excellent, couldn't fault them.
Don't drive past this establishment, stop and enjoy.
First class, thanks.........

We have taken a break in a journey here a few times - it's 25 minutes west of Welshpool and ideal when travelling to North Wales or returning to the West Midlands.

This year we stopped for breakfast on the way to a week's holiday and repeated the experience as we journeyed home. Excellent quality bacon and sausages, served with 2 eggs fried to perfection.

Staff on each occasion were pleasant and friendly.
