Well what can I say, a beautiful hotel, with lovely friendly people, that extends to locals to. It has a small carpark at side, but you would have to reverse into busy Rd to get out, however with someone watching this is simple. The hotel has lovely old fashion creeky floor boards and beautiful rooms which are very clean and good...

No frills, but everything you need for a stop when walking Offas' Dyke. The staff were very friendly, if not entirely up to speed - we were told two of the rooms had no ensuite, but in each case opening a door revealed a small but perfectly adequate bathroom. No food in evenings, but there are lots of places within...

Always see familiar faces and I enjoy going here. Good pub. Just a little out of the centre of town. Always clean and tidy. Got tv too. And pool table. And a jukebox. When in Wales must visit here. Was my local but I moved into town centre and I still visit. Thx.

First of all, if you are looking for The Ritz, look elsewhere. If you are looking for a basic package with few frills then you are going to be happy with The Westwood Park Hotel. I would say it is excellent value. Me and a couple of friends used it as a base for a 3 day motorcycle excursion around...

I stayed here while walking Offa's Dyke. The room was small, but adequate and it was very clean and comfy. When we stayed there it was quite warm weather and we needed to have the bedroom window open - unfortunately, there was then some "machinery noise" which disturbed us most of the night. The breakfast was very nice and the...

We stayed here for the second time after a family funeral. The rooms although small are extremely clean and have everything you need. The bed was very comfortable. The landlady Diane very kindly let us in early so we could change rather than travelling in our formal clothes. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here. It is excellent value...

Our friend Mark had his 50 Birthday party here and booked the rooms on our behalf. The rooms were very homely and very clean and such a pleasant hospitable stay and welcome that made a change from those clinical chain hotels one sees advertised on tv!!! The whole evening was so well catered for from beginning to end and the...

4 Mature ladies that walk stayed 8th & 9th April. Diane and her staff were very accommodating. No restaurant but we were invited to use the dining room to eat food we prepared ourselves in a small camper in the pub car park. Good breakfast. Excellent value for money. Rooms small but spotlessly clean. Would recommend to walkers.
