My husband, dog and I visited this hotel for 2 nights this week and had a wonderful time. We stayed in room33 and the views from our balcony were incredible. The hotel is located in a peaceful welsh paradise. The room was very spacious, clean and comfy bed. Although the WIFI wasn't particularly good that's the only fault! The 5...

Situated in what is a fairly isolated part of Wales, the Lake Vyrnwy Hotel is situated in a great location with stunning views from what looks like a very imposing building. I believe there are two restaurants, one with a more limited menu and the Tower Restaurant, which has an expanded menu and lovely views right down Lake Vyrnwy. On...

This is a lovely hotel steeped in history. The views are wonderful. The staff appear happy in their work and friendly to guests. The room was spacious and fully equipped. The spa is a nice treat and worth an afternoon of relaxation. The food is good especially the breakfast. The decor may be slightly dated in areas but this did...

This hotel with its charm and hospitality is a fantastic get away and charge those batteries again. From the reception to your bedroom you are greeted with friendly staff, the dinning room is even more friendly if that's needed, but the best is its not rushed or pushy ,,just laid back, enjoy the view and fresh Welsh air......

Spent 2 nights at the hotel from the 12th/14th March 2015 for a spa break staying at Lake Vyrnwy. The hotel is ideally located on the hillside. We stayed in Room3 which commanded a spectacular view of the lake. We could have just stayed on our balcony with the stunning view and changing colours during the day. The room we...

We took advantage of their seasonal 3 day "Brolly Break" and booked a superior lake view room. This is in the newer part of the hotel and our room was on the second floor (no lift) and it was quite a way to get to, but the hike was well worth the effort. On entering the room which was spacious...

We stayed here on a deal offered by Travel Zoo. Excellent hotel 4* and lived up to its reputation. Excellent food and service throughout our stay attention to detail and the setting superb. Highly recommend this as a special treat. Lots to do in the area if you like the great outdoors as we do.
