This is our second visit to the hotel. Again we were very pleased with the overall quality of the experience and particularly with the willingness of the staff to please and provide proper service. We did have to bring to the hotel's attention some issues with dinner on our first night but they handled this well and could not have...

You cannot fault the level of service at this fine hotel. From reception staff to the restaurant professionalism is top notch. The hotel is set in beautiful and well maintained grounds with a nine hole pitch and putt golf course and croquet lawn. Don't expect St Andrews, the golf course is perfect for practising and having a good afternoon. Our...

We stayed dinner bed and breakfast for a good rate over Easter weekend. We were with our 16 month old daughter. The hotel were very thoughtful and had allocated us to a room in the main house by the stairs so that we could use a baby monitor (which they also kindly provided) and could have dinner downstairs once she...

We have visited several times when we feel the need to be pampered. Never disappointed, excellent in every respect, and the dog enjoys it all too! The spa is great and the food delicious. The room was very comfortable, on the ground floor. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Walked here from out lodgings (30/40mins) for a coffee. First of all, we were greeted at the door and made to feel very welcome. We ordered coffees and all the staff made a huge fuss over our two terriers. We stayed for an alcoholic drink and let the dogs have a quick run of a front lawn. It is evident...

We wanted a quiet few days to chill out and thats what we got. The room was lovely with a 4 poster bed which was not expected. The Hotel was old fashioned, but well maintained. Restaurant was good, but staff were a little inexperienced. General Service was very good with someone always on hand to meet your request. Beautiful grounds...

A fantastic setting and hotel to match. Spa looks almost new and has all you could need. Very relaxing. Room was very clean and tidy and comfy. We got a deal with the rate but would probably knock a star off if have had to pay full rate. My only gripe was evening meal at £45 per head and that...

It is lovely to know that you both enjoyed your 40th wedding anniversary stay with us so much. The fact that you both intend to return to visit us again speaks for itself, and we will pass on all of your kind comments to our team. Thank you.

Loved every minute of our stay and so did the dog. Staff are friendly and helpful. The spa is pretty new, however, the rooms could be that little bit cleaner. The food is great and we even got a separate room, so the dog could join us for dinner
