Detailed Reviews
We booked this cottage with our new 5 month old puppy for a nice 'staycation' with the pandemic making travel abroad near impossible and we could not have been happier with our stay! Teresa and all her family were so welcoming from our arrival right through to their two sons giving us a full tour of the farm and its animals! The cottage itself was lovely and had EVERYTHING we needed including an amazing welcome hamper with snacks, fresh eggs and even a little pack with masks, wipes and hand gel. The farm itself is nice and quiet with a great view into the valley below which looked even more amazing from the hot tub which the hosts were more than happy to arrange for us at a time of our choosing. The local area is a great getaway with a nice 10km walk starting and ending at the farm itself around the nearby valley. The facilities were really great, but the hospitality offered by Teresa and her family made it EVEN better. We will definitely be looking to come back even before Christmas and I'm sure many more times in the future!

Where to start… most beautiful farm I have ever seen. We booked for 3 nights for two people and our little dog. I can tell we fell in love in the first minute we arrived. Location is amazing, view is stunning to all the fields and animals, cottage is cozy and clean. We got our welcome basket with free range eggs from farm and some snacks, which is a nice little touch.
Hot tub area is extremely clean, practical and even there we could take our little dog with us, who enjoyed watching the horses and goats running around while we stayed in the hot tub and enjoyed the view.
The farm has its own home made product , jam, ham, eggs etc what we could buy while , so we did and again amazing!
Worth every £ , wish we could stay longer :)
Fell in love with farm life even more than before. Thank you for the best experience.

We were warmly welcomed and that set the pattern!! Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. The farm is a working , calm, beautiful place the views over the valley , looking from the hot tub are truly incredible breathtaking. The cottage is cosy warm and so well equipted they have thought of every thing, down to night lights and a Covid pack for days out. The welcome Basket was another indication of the hosts thoughtfulness, the fresh eggs were delicous. l havent stopped raving about it .lt is definately off the beaten track and not close to the village but wow it is fantastic.

Teresa was very helpful and super fast to reply to my many email queries before I visited. The cottage is beautiful, so much nicer than the photos on the website. Spotlessly clean, every single room! Kitchen has everything you need (but bring cooking oil)! Hot tub was lovely - I put some battery operated LED candles on the wall nearby to make it cosy in the evening and it drew the four adorable cats over as I think they were trying to get a warm off the fake candles! Cats are super friendly. We had a lovely welcome basket containing: 6 fresh eggs, a big bag of crisps, a pack of Jammie dodgers, a bag of munchies and loads of tea/coffee sachets which was a lovely touch.
The log burner fire was amazing (the dogs were big fans)! and the views around the farm are stunning. Can’t wait to visit again

Room Tip: Bring cooking oil. Maybe keep the kitchen door closed when cooking as we kept setting the smoke...

Stayed at Cyfie Farm, Llanfyllin for 2 nights in one bed cottage, was such a treat after lockdown. The cottage was lovely, with so many little treats waiting for us, giving it a very personal touch. It had everything needed plus more as well as use of hot tub and sauna literally across the way, private, overlooking fields. Thank you all for a very welcome break.

Me and my wife booked the Wheat Cottage after a much needed break from our hectic lives. The location is absolutely stunning and the views of the valley are unreal - especially during the sunset.
The cottage itself is absolutely beautiful and the hot tub was sublime! this is completely private and can be accessed at anytime.
We met Teresa, Matt & June on site who were very hands on and always happy to help at anytime. The customer service was impeccable.
10/10 - will definitely be visiting again!

A beautiful stay at the beautiful Shire Horsebox.
We arrived at the property to be greeted with some lovely fresh eggs, biscuits, chocolate and crisps.
The horsebox had everything you could need. Was so clean and tidy, also the comfiest bed I have ever slept in,
The hot tub was so lovely in the evening after having a bbq. Area was all lit up too.
The views are just incredible, loved watching all the animals.
This place is definitely a must for someone who wants a lovely relaxed break.
We also bought meat from on-site which was beautiful along with the fresh eggs.
Thank you for a lovely weekend,

A cleverly converted horse lorry. Beautiful inside and out. Peaceful setting, plenty of farm animals to gaze at, a beautful communal garden but you also have your own private area with a private hot tub. Welcoming hosts, they also have a shed selling homemade produce like jam, chutneys, hand knitted craft, local meat
Can’t fault it at all. Shame only 1 night 🥺 but will defo be back one day.
Highly recommended.

Visited for 4 nights with the hubby and dog . Really clean and cozy and a nice little welcome basket on arrival . Must be an animal lover ( which we are !) as the farm cats are usually sat on the doorstep making them selves comfy , there’s a little walk around area where you can go and look at goats , pigs , chickens and ducks and horses , goats and sheep are all in the field , which the hut tub overlooked . If I had a complaint it would only be that the horses were very rude and didn’t come close enough for cuddles . The hot tub was lovely , with a lovely hot shower for before and after , with fresh towels and toiletries on hand . We stayed in barley suit which had a lovely big super comfy bed with lovely clean bedding . All in all a stunning little break with beautiful scenery. Lake vynwy is a must for a visit !
