Came here on business, perfect location for where i was working. Room was great, staff friendly (diane was lovely!) and breakfast on point. What more can you ask for? Excellent! Also the car parking was free which is very rare these days! …..
Having stayed in numerous Premier Inn's throughout England, this was the opportunity to stay in Wales whilst visiting St. David's. The car parking is free. My friend and I stayed in the Premier Plus rooms located on the first floor. Lift is available. On arrival after 15:00 we were met by a delightfully friendly duo of 'Tiffany' & 'Amy'. A courteous, swift check-in and off to our rooms on the first floor. The Room: As with all PI's the rooms are always guaranteed to be well maintained. Floor to wall carpet. Vanity table with hair dryer just inside the door next to the 'open plan' wardrobe with coat hangers and bottom drawer. The ironing board/iron is always useful. Spare pillow is also supplied. The suitcase bench is next to the work desk which has electric / usb - computer sockets. A desk lamp is available. The Premier Plus room have a complementary coffee maker with a choice of coffee pods and tea bags/sugar. Nice spacious cups, and two glasses. A fridge with complimentary still and carbonated water for premier plus guests. The work desk has the usual 'claw' for opening any bottles. Large wide screen TV and remote, as one would expect. We did not use the hotels wi-fi, so I cannot comment. The room has a very comfortable wing-backed lounge chair and foot rest. The bed, as always in PI rooms is one of the most comforting features, ensuring a sound nights sleep. 'Mood' lighting above the bed is most relaxing. Bedside reading lights are situated above the small bed side tables. Effective curtains which excludes daylight if required. The room has air-conditioning which I tested and found most effective (19c is the lowest setting). Warm air is available should you require it. The windows are sealed and sound proofed. The bathroom has both a shower over bath. I found the water pressure very good and the temperature can be adjusted to one's liking. The sealed liquid soap smells very pleasant and offers separate hair/hand and body wash. They are located in sensible positions. One of each foot - face and body towels are located within the bathroom. The Housekeeping should be acknowledged for their exceptional efforts in presented such a well presented room for the guests. Management please pass on my compliments. To conclude: The hotel only provides a breakfast room. I would suggest the guest contacts the hotel in advance of arrival to arrange a preferred breakfast time. The Marston's restaurant: 'The Lost Coins' is only a few yards across the parking area. The breakfast lay-out is designed with suitable space between other guests. My friend and I both enjoyed our cooked English breakfast presented by 'Andrew'. A most friendly and welcoming Chef. One can see inside the kitchen and I noted it was spot-less. We were fortunate to speak to 'Claire' who engaged us with most pleasant conversation. Management please pass on our compliments to all those mentions in my review. I would not hesitate in recommending this efficient, friendly and welcoming hotel.…
I booked my stay and soon as confirmation had come back they booked me the wrong dates, I then had spend 25 mins trying to get through, to then be told they would give me the dates I originally booked but at the cost of additional £26.90. I then got questioned about my breakfast payment on arrival, and they also called us aside after breakfast again to ask had we paid. They controll the heating in the rooms downstairs so after an hour of my family sitting with our coats on went to speak to desk, they then put the heating on. We contacted premier inn customer option via Facebook and they replied asking for more info, which we have in full and to this day, no reply. 1 * for rooms purely coz it was so cold. 1* for service as nothing has been sorted out. Terrible way to be treated
Stayed at this hotel for new years eve with my partner. We arrived around 8pm and reception kindly greeted us and briefly checked us in and booked us a taxi for later on. Our room was a prem plus which was fully eqipped and the bed was wonderful. We didn’t have breakfast but it looked pretty busy in the restaurant. Keep going Haverfordwest! Your doing a brilliant job.
Stayed at this premier inn around the christmas period with my young family. Upon checking in we were greeted by very friendly staff and really making a fuss with our children and given a selection box and hot chocolate which was a nice touch. Our room was spotless and spacious and serviced every day of our 4 night stay. Breakfast was excellent and was a buffet style which was always full stocked (went back for seconds it was that nice). All the staff i spoke to were very friendly and would do anything to help and i definitely would come back to this hotel.
Last to arrive off the ferry and the staff who greeted us both at arrival and breakfast were very friendly and welcoming. after the ferry a nice hot bath was def what we needed, and didn’t disappoint.
We stayed here to visit family. Never had a problem before staying here. The cleanliness has gone down hill massively. The room was not very clean. Had issues with dirty bedding upon arrival (which was changed) stained carpet, rubbish and dirt behind bathroom door.
The room was very unclean, I spoke to reception and told them that there was loads of black mould in the bathroom. It was fuzzy. They said they would send someone to clean it. When we returned to our room there was the smell of bleach and one area of mould had been somewhat removed but the rest had been left. It was genuinely gross trying to shower in there. The room was tired, with marks all over the walls and a grubby carpet. When reception cleaned the room they left us with only one towel. We didn’t notice this until we came out of the shower and couldn’t then go down to reception. When we went to check out there was no one there to speak to about the issues. I tried to wait around and someone from the restaurant came and took my key, dropped it in the box for me and told me to leave. No one asked how we found our stay or checked if our issues were resolved. The stay generally felt more like I would expect from a holiday inn that a premier inn and wasn’t worth the additional money I spent to stay here instead. I won’t be returning and would not recommend. Whilst the room was unclean the bed was comfortable.…
Stayed here in Dec 2022 whilst the weather was freezing, the restaurant couldn’t cope with the amount of people in the morning for breakfast. Was left waiting half hour before we got served whilst people who arrived after us had already been served. Coffee machine not working, tea served was cold, bacon was the worst I’ve ever tasted, it tasted off. The room was warm and comfortable but on a cold day a decent breakfast was important to us and this hotel completely failed
This hotel is a popular stopover for the Fishguard ferry, which was the purpose of our one night stay prior to travelling back to Hampshire. Tried a 'Premier Plus' room for a small premium, a new product offered at this hotel and some others in the chain. I'd been meaning to try one of these for some time, and I have to say it compared favourably to other hotel stays on this trip for which I paid 2-3 times more. The premium rooms are on their own floor and have a comfy chair, a large workspace, bottled water, a big flat-screen TV and a coffee maker, although ours appeared to be leaking. Most importantly of all and unlike some much pricier hotels used recently, there were no late night parties a nice peaceful environment for sleeping - surely the main purpose of a hotel. The only thing you don't get are views or fancy toiletries, but overall for the price paid very impressed. Since we departed on the day of the Queen's funeral and many businesses were closed, paid for breakfast at the hotel. Breakfast room is small with a fairly basic buffet, and hot food cooked to order at extra cost. Under normal circumstances I probably would've made other arrangements. As with many Premier Inns, there's a chain pub/restaurant next door for dinner although we arrived too late to eat there.…
