We had a really nice stay at this pub/hotel. The hotel is very comfortable and the food is really nice. The place has a real opportunity to be really good. The place needs to be scrubbed up a bit and is in need of redecoration. The place could really make a feature of its history. We overheard an American couple...

Spent just the one night while attending a friends wedding reception. Central location.Good car park facilities and check in was easy. Had a single room 101 and whilst a little tired had TV Tea and Coffee making facilities. Nice bed overall clean and tidy. Bathroom had a bath with an overhead shower, again clean and tidy. Didn't have an evening...

I went down for dinner and the lady on reception was very dismissive and disinterested. I had a tuna steak with new potatoes and seasonal veg, the tuna was tough and...

This could be a beautiful place. An old coaching inn situated in a historic market town in the breath takingly countryside in the most beautiful and friendly country in the world. It is not. As an over night stay it works well at a budget price. Any longer and I would have been phoning up owners. The place needs a...

Stayed there Friday to Tuesday through work . Chose it because it was reasonable and had sky sports which was ok. The food was very poor , I didn't eat the buffollo wings , because they were cold and bloody , that was my starter and first meal , and the food never got better there on . The rooms...
