Bit of a cheat as this pub is my local. It is situated in beautiful surroundings. The welcome, the food and the ambience all go to make it a good visit. It is well situated for the abundace of walkers to the area.

For a plate of Sunday lunch,
We didn't have to wait for long,
They're a very hardworking bunch!
The meals we ordered were wonderful,
We had fish and turkey and veg,
Not all on the same plate, of course,
