Our expectations were far exceeded. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The view was beautiful. The staff were welcoming and helpful. We liked the small touches such as the bottles of water and the cookies. We will definitely be visiting again. Excellent value.

Great location and a lovely stay at this hotel especially if attending weddings at Ruthin Castle which is very close by. Rooms were clean, cosy and warm with all mod cons. Food and drinks very good at normal weatherspoons prices. Definitely recommend.

Stayed for one night at this hotel whilst at a wedding at the nearby castle. It was wonderful. Very clean, very helpful staff and would go again. And as it was a Wetherspons there was food and drink on tap and at very good value for money

Could well be the best steak in Ruthin. And for around £10.00, with chips, peas, half a tomato and a pint of lager, it's very good value. Initially they were there, but the local middle classes have now deserted this place, since it became less orderly and more in need of a hands-on manager who employs a cleaner, for the...

My wife booked this as part of a birthday treat as she knew I wanted to explore the area. Shower door Broken, it was off the bottom runner. Shower tray drain blocked. Toilet roll holder broken. Linoleum flooring seal had come away from the edges. Went to report to reception on way down for a meal but no one on....

Stayed here again this week for work. This time I had a single room which was a little disappointing as the room was rather small, it was clean and warm which is what matters after all, all I was doing was sleeping in the room😃. Otherwise another good stay. Food was up to standard and sensibly priced, there was a...

Arrived late and had a very warm welcome from the staff. We where shown to our room and I was amazed how good it was for such a cheap price. The bed was so comfy and had a great sleep. The breakfast was ok but for under £4.00 it was well worth it. Booking out was easy and I recommend...

Booked in early Sunday evening with a couple of friends. Our rooms nice and warm. Had evening meal & drink in spacious dining area, split into various rooms. My meal was the Beef & Ale pie served with chips and mushy peas, I had a pint of John Smiths bitter which I enjoyed. Service very good on the whole.
