We visit the Auckland Arms 4 times a year and always have excellent service throughout our stay. Aidy and the team are always friendly and helpful especially when it comes to the fabulous drink selection. Thanks again to all and again it was great to catch up with friends we have made over the years. See you soon and keep...

Just popped in for a quick pre-prandial drink. welcoming bar staff as usual. Cannot comment about the accommodation as did not stay there. Great location close to town centre and various restaurants. Will return :-)

Where to start we arrived and the manager was informed we wanted to check in it took 20 mins for him to acknowledge us he was more interested in telling everyone that he had 64 different types of rum than deal with a check in, when we finally gained his attention he took us up to our rooms who've quite...

I am very sorry you were made to feel that way, I wasn't aware you were there as I had just checked another guest in and though you were there for a drink, as were the people at the bar who requested rum, hence myself talking about them (we are a pub it is what we do), I could try...

We did not stay here but just popped in for an hour or so while waiting for a table in nearby restaurant Dylan's. A small and friendly local pub with a landlord who has a passion for spirits - 60 different gins, 50 different rums and a similar number of different whiskies. He does the normal range of beers, cider,...

Lovely pub very close to Menai Bridge, staff very friendly and welcoming and eager to advice on beverages, must have had nearly 20+ types of gin! Also had comfy sofas, pool table and cupboard full of board games. The place had a lovely cosy and homely feel and was very well priced.

Can't comment on the accommodation but the pub itself was top class, the rare combination of a pub that is equally traditional as it is open to new ideas - especially in terms of the ales on offer. The staff were friendly, as was the manager - both very knowledgeable on the topic of the beverages on sale. Nice mixed...

Stayed here with the family and dog for the bank holiday weekend in room 3, the room was clean and as expected. The staff were always helpful and friendly. The Auckland is located in the beautiful village of Menai just under the bride and a great place as a base to go off and visit the beaches etc on Anglesey....

We stayed in room 2, it has two very comfy double beds and a large bathroom. The room size is excellent - much bigger than we'd expected. This is a great option for anyone on a tight budget wanted somewhere clean to get a good nights sleep. My only gripe would be the front door needs a new spring as...

The Auckland has two sets of rooms - some ensuite room, and a set of bunks with a shared bathroom. Can't comment on the ensuite rooms as I didn't stay in them. The bunks were a terrific place to stay though, for someone who is just looking for a place to lay their head for a night. Quite small, maybe...
